Just replaced my machine’s door locking mechanism having watches this video and got it in one! Thanks for the tutorial, super clear and easy to follow. 2 points I noted - my spring was in line with the door hinge so a bit tricky to budge but got there in the end; and also the wires connected to the locking mechanism were very short so I couldn’t pull it right through in front of me - again just a bit more fiddly but did get it done :)

Thank you so so much Paul, your video's were a great help for us to replace the door seal on our Siemens washer , also to remove bra wire from underneath the drum, only 1 comment ..with the new replacement seal, which was an OEM part, we found that closing the door seemed bit tighter than with the previous seal, is this normal..? thanks Anthony and Krys,

Do you have any info on how to remove the door hinge from an Australian Bosch series 6 washing machine. The process looks simple on the English version but the door backing panel on the Australian one has none of the screws to remove the back panel. Further they have made all the screws star screws to make it more difficult again. There would be some method to remove the back panel via clips but no idea where the clips are as its just a blank bit of plastic.

Mine is a front load exactly as in the video. .While opening the door after washing seems pulled the latch from a wrong angle as there the small area on top got cracked.Tried to glue it up but now cannot use the door. Is the problem in the lock which must have got affected by my pulling the door open as the latch suggets that force was used. What am I to do. Thank you so much. I live in an apartment and Saturday night the switch fall into the machine. after this video I was able to reinstall the switch. Monday I will tell the landlord about the issue. but for now I can have clean clothes.

Mine is a front load exactly as in the video. .While opening the door after washing seems pulled the latch from a wrong angle as there the small area on top got cracked.Tried to glue it up but now cannot use the door. Is the problem in the lock which must have got affected by my pulling the door open as the latch suggets that force was used. What am I to do. Can only get the lock replaced or the entire door .Its well esplained but cannot dare to attempt after damaging the latch. Please suggest .Thanks

Hi there I have a problem with my washing machine when I turn it on and the red light flashes when I close the door and it clicks and I press the start button the red light goes off and the washing machines doesn't fill or start what can the problem be

Hi, I have just repaired the door locking mechanism, however after doing so the door doesn't automatically lock anymore. Does this mean I need to replace the door lock?

I'm total amateur, but the fastest way how to remove this lock system is from top cover. It;s was less then 3 minute.
That is a tiny washer.
