i'm currently really really sick, can't sleep, and just finished two stressful finals. i've had a terrible day and my first thought was to put on your content free podcasts and close my eyes and let your voice calm me as i hopefully drift off into snooze land. also, i love chicken wings too. my favorite food! thank you peter for being awesome.
Your commentary about high beams and driving made me laugh. I really love listening to your ramblings. They're great background noise for while I'm drawing.
It's more dangerous to swerve for a deer. You should hit it head on and slow down as much as possible without losing control. Your skin might be itchy because it's dry. Try using a skin moisturizer.
in response to getting into the wrong car: my entire friend group did that once, it was the same exact kind of car and we didn't realize it wasn't ours until we opened the trunk to put stuff in and there was a box inside that said 'baby supplies' that none of us had seen before. which made the fact that the remote wasnt working and we had to manually open the trunk make sense lol. it definitely freaked us out a bit bc we could've stolen that car so easily even though we didnt of course
A little bit of charcoal is actually just fine for you. In fact, it can be good for you! A little bit of charcoal really helps your digestion. If you've ever suffered from indigestion the little pills you can buy to help alleviate it contain charcoal. A burnt bit of toast also helps with digestion for the same reason.
hahaha I actually did the same thing. I always imagined I was outside the car where I was running and jumping on everything and doing crazy tricks haha ohhh good ol times.
i don't know why, but i always imagined myself running sideways. like when there's the guardfence i would imagine myself running on it with head pointing to our car, and if i slipped, i would fall in the infinite abyss before i would hit somehing and die.
Charcoal is a natural filter, but it filters by absorbing. So once its full, it'll start to let out the toxins that have been collecting inside it. So that's why it's important to change the charcoal in your coffee filter.
I don't have cruise control. I definitely agree it keeps you more aware, unless you're me and go the same speed without even looking! Lol. I'd love to know the different types of pens, other drawing tools, and paper you use. I have a pilot fountain pen but I'd love to branch out to even more unique pens.
Your description of having a connection of sorts with the driver ahead of you also describes perfectly how I feel about you...r videos.....that's neat, Peter!
You're probably not going to make anyone have an accident if you forget to turn off your high beams, especially if there's a median. You should still try to do it though. Bright lights can trigger headaches or migraines in people. Sometimes this happens to me where normal headlights in the dark trigger them, but the pain from high beams can be excruciating.
outfctrl Life drawing. Try it. It's a hoot and a riot. Plus it helps with shading as you can practice from life. Just take any object and shine lights from whichever angle and go to town.
try to draw some basic shapes and imagine a place where the sun will hit it. You can find a lot of videos about this. I think it would help. I think it's also very nice to know a little anatomy. Or just google some images of mountains or trees or really just anything, and try to start looking at it like the only thing it's made of is darker places lighter places and try to start with the light places. This will help a lot I think.
I used to imagine somebody skateboarding on the electricity and telephone poles when I would go on a long car ride, I didn't know other people did this kind of thing too.
Have you heard of Burma Shave signs? Small white boards with black block letters lined up alongside the road with clever sayings. I remember one. Henry the 8th. (Sign one). Sure had trouble. (Sign two, etc.). Short term wives. Long term stubble. Burma Shave. 5 signs. It was so cool to catch sight of these little signs. In the 50’s. Made the boring acres of wheat fields more interesting.
I almost fell out of my chair at the 44:43 mark... You bought Instant Coffee,? If I find out you drank that crap, I'm going to take a road trip just to slap you straight. I'm watching you Peter. I'm watching you, like you're on Candy Camera.
Peter, you should do a content free podcast where instead of just drawing you paint on a canvas whilst sitting on a stool. I'd love to see that.... thank you.
I used to imagine the little guy from the video game Excite Bike riding along beside the car. Out of curiosity; what is the fountain pen that you're drawing with in this video?
Just thinking to myself earlier : what am I gonna do today, my soccer try outs are gonna get cancelled because of the lightning, I can't really go outside because of the weather, I don't feel like drawing for some reason... HEY YES! EP 6
In Philippines, drivers dont care about high beams. they dont care if you're blinded for 3 seconds because of their irresponsibility. its not even by accident. they (70-80%) just dont care
I only use body wash with a loofah, makes it nice and bubbly and nice. Would also keep you from putting it in your hair lol. Also my skin gets itchy if I don't put on lotion after a shower, you could try that. Also also, I've been known to come out of the shower having only washed and shaved one armpit. I'm not sure how I miss one. I love this podcast, it's the best kind of talking to fill up my ear holes. Stay weird Peter 👍
same shit happened to me. bumped some lady in front of me and it cost me $250 for repairs that were so unnecessary. There were two bolt sized marks, hardly visible. Had it been the other way around id have been like "Give me $40 and were good". People are so absurd over the littlest marks on their car.
my sister likes asmr to help her relax but I just watch your videos :) they are so soothing and your voice sounds so nice! I feel like I sound creepy now so I'm gonna stop (I'm not I promise)
Baths are just as clean as showers, but not if you have been rolling around in mud or if you're all grimy and nasty. You should get some candles, and some bubbles, and nice soothing music and get yourself a bath. Maybe get a rubber ducky or a tube the little, plastic animals. There are even bathtub crayons so you can doodle while taking a bath.
Blake Carswell to me showers are life. they refresh you instantly and you are ready to start the they. but you can also relax underneath the shower and just let the rays massage your back and stuff. without showers I would go thru life as a zoombie. Personally I hate baths. Just as I don't really like swiming like... dfck are you doing you are just sitting in the water making it dirty and your fingers get all wrinkly andd.. idk I just don't like it. if I want to relax I rather keep myself on a dry surface like a couch. The only time I enjoyed laying in water was at night when I was on vacation and I layed in the sea, but it was so salt that you floathed and you could just lay there and watch the stars it was amazing !! look that that is a good way (in my opinion) to spend your time in the water.
I like both. I start my day with a shower and then take a bath at night to relax. I like to read in the bath. Peter has never taken a bath, so he doesn't know what he is missing! Some of my fondest memories of childhood involved splashing around in a tub full of hot water until the water got cold and I got pruned. As always, it is a personal preference.
+Blake Carswell yes indeed it's a very personal preference. I only have that much time to relax in a bath for a majority of time. I think I would also get bored very quick. But I see why you would like to read in bath. I normally when I on the go ( for instance in the train to university) and when I have them to spare I always go to the beach at night or hang out with some friends.
I'm terrible with long drives. I don't survive unless I consume terrible amounts of mountain dew... it's worse when I'm the driver. I'm falling asleep within 10 minutes.:/ And @ matching people on the road for long times -- yes, yes. The pain of the sudden departure... It's sort of romantic.
Hey peter, a question for you: Do your hands ever hurt from drawing so much? i just got into doodling myself and if i draw for too long my hand hurts. Is it just a muscle you develop?
I really like his podcasts they're so soothing right ?
43:40
Parking lot Lady: "So I guess you didn't see me backing out there, huh?"
Peter: "Oh? You're approaching me?"
"I'd probably close my eyes and hope it all ends alright...anyway high beams are nice" lmao I love these podcasts
lol when i was little i also imagined little guy running by our side :D
Tacka4Fun 99 woodcutting
time to fall to sleep to this angels voice
7:10 i used to do the same thing! the guy would be doing like parkour stuff and jumping over things like rooftops and road signs etc.
can i have a hug peter
yeah
i'm currently really really sick, can't sleep, and just finished two stressful finals. i've had a terrible day and my first thought was to put on your content free podcasts and close my eyes and let your voice calm me as i hopefully drift off into snooze land. also, i love chicken wings too. my favorite food! thank you peter for being awesome.
this is the third time going through this playlist.. it's awesome while working !! Thanks Peter :)
Same! It's become my CAD soundtrack haha
Now we know those dislikes are all from those who meet you when you drive
Your commentary about high beams and driving made me laugh. I really love listening to your ramblings. They're great background noise for while I'm drawing.

Your skin might be itchy because it's dry. Try using a skin moisturizer.
Oh please make more of these!! They are just wonderful and love the concept of a content free loomg video!!
i did this while doing homework and it helped me focus. thank you peter
in response to getting into the wrong car: my entire friend group did that once, it was the same exact kind of car and we didn't realize it wasn't ours until we opened the trunk to put stuff in and there was a box inside that said 'baby supplies' that none of us had seen before. which made the fact that the remote wasnt working and we had to manually open the trunk make sense lol. it definitely freaked us out a bit bc we could've stolen that car so easily even though we didnt of course
thank you for uploading these videos. i enjoy listening to you and watching you art.
A little bit of charcoal is actually just fine for you. In fact, it can be good for you!
A little bit of charcoal really helps your digestion. If you've ever suffered from indigestion the little pills you can buy to help alleviate it contain charcoal. A burnt bit of toast also helps with digestion for the same reason.
yes, I'm gonna go decorate some guard rails somewhere soon. good idea. you are inspiring.
your pinkie finger is provoking my draw or flight response
hahaha I actually did the same thing. I always imagined I was outside the car where I was running and jumping on everything and doing crazy tricks haha ohhh good ol times.
Anouk Kadijk same. I would imagine a snowboarding action super hero person lol
i don't know why, but i always imagined myself running sideways. like when there's the guardfence i would imagine myself running on it with head pointing to our car, and if i slipped, i would fall in the infinite abyss before i would hit somehing and die.
Anouk Kadijk OMG I thought that was only me!
Anouk Kadijk i alwas imagined i was holding a rope tied on my car and on a snowboard. Like waterskiing
21:51 I feel you brother, I feel you. Such an excruciating moment.
Charcoal is a natural filter, but it filters by absorbing. So once its full, it'll start to let out the toxins that have been collecting inside it. So that's why it's important to change the charcoal in your coffee filter.
Seeing a new content free podcast just made my night
I don't have cruise control. I definitely agree it keeps you more aware, unless you're me and go the same speed without even looking! Lol. I feel like each one of these videoes is the longest tangent ever
I love how you mentioned the blue ridge mountains and the Smokies. that's where I live :)
It's a real nice area :)
I want to learn to draw so I can make channel art and thumbnails for myself.
You should its really fun!
Yay, something to listen to when I sleep
Your podcasts help me be creative and productive, thanks! :)
I had the same accident!!!! My Gatorade was Whataburger though... She was nice about it though, thank goodness!
what pen/pencil/marker/other drawing tool variant is your go-to when you just feel like doodling?
Peter, I am practicing doodling, but having a hard time seeing shadows and highlighted areas. Any tips for a wannabe artist?
outfctrl see where like comes from, ot where it's hitting, guess where it should and shouldn't be based on where it's coming from! happy to help.
find an apple, shine a light at it so it casts a shadow, look at the relationship between the angle of the light and the placement of the shadow
outfctrl Life drawing. Try it. It's a hoot and a riot. Plus it helps with shading as you can practice from life. Just take any object and shine lights from whichever angle and go to town.

thanks all. I will work on it when. I get home from work. Great help all
I watched the whole ad because I love you
I would watch your flip book on the guard rails for sure
I MISS YOUR LIVE STREAMS. :(
YES!! What happened to the Twitch channel ?
Your line work eases my anxiety.
Thank ya Peter.
this piece is so amazing. love ya peter

I don't know why but this drawing reminds me of a rhinoceros. Love it!:-)
Peter, you could make a movie on those guardrails.
I used to do that too lol, imagine like a character parkouring over the trees and the wires and buildings :/
I almost fell out of my chair at the 44:43 mark... You bought Instant Coffee,? If I find out you drank that crap, I'm going to take a road trip just to slap you straight. I'm watching you Peter. I'm watching you, like you're on Candy Camera.
been waiting so long for this one
Peter!! You should draw on your car!! ☺️💖
Peter, you should do a content free podcast where instead of just drawing you paint on a canvas whilst sitting on a stool. I'd love to see that.... thank you.
We were all here before he hit 1 million subscribers.
This is what I need after finishing 13 reasons why
yay more art!
Peter I fully expect you to go out and make art on gaurd rails somewhere now!
Back at it Again !
How is this dude a licensed driver 😂 lololol
drew griffith tons of people less qualified have licences, that is the scary part
yee boiii just finished the other new ones, this vid is great news
Couldn't stop laughing. That was gold!
I used to imagine the little guy from the video game Excite Bike riding along beside the car.
Out of curiosity; what is the fountain pen that you're drawing with in this video?
Do a project, it'll take a long time, but do a section of wallpaper where you just doodle or put ideas and thoughts. idk. It would be awesome
What? First comments are hard.
Lol! "fighting type"😂
Just thinking to myself earlier : what am I gonna do today, my soccer try outs are gonna get cancelled because of the lightning, I can't really go outside because of the weather, I don't feel like drawing for some reason... HEY YES! EP 6

the tattoo master this guy.
How to be an optimistic pessimist with peter draws 😂
My wish came true. Another podcast...
I did water color with coffee one time. it brought ants to my sketch book😕
Have you read The Yellow Wallpaper?
I only use body wash with a loofah, makes it nice and bubbly and nice. Would also keep you from putting it in your hair lol. I need some more sleep casts.. thus puts me into such a deep deep sleep.. 🖤

Fantastic work Peter. Is amazing, greetings bro ^^
Activated charcoal is actually healthy. Or rather, has health benefits. ;)
Newtons.
it's newtons.
Peter, I had a dream you were the killer in the book I'm reading.Maybe you did it within the first 15 minutes of waking up.
my sister likes asmr to help her relax but I just watch your videos :) they are so soothing and your voice sounds so nice! I feel like I sound creepy now so I'm gonna stop (I'm not I promise)
Hahahaha! I think you will find, Peter, that we DO actually know how the sun-rising-mechanism works. You are so funnee!
i fell asleep listening to this thank
also, i've been thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there were seats that gave you that nice travelling in a car feeling?
he have his class ring on you guys see it

That sounds like a lot of work to relax

Man! you are talking. the stuffs you think. You will make Neil DeGrasse Tyson's mind blown with every sentence.
Is there an RSS feed for these episodes so I can import them to a podcast player?
Where do you get your art supplies?
I'm terrible with long drives. I don't survive unless I consume terrible amounts of mountain dew... it's worse when I'm the driver. I'm falling asleep within 10 minutes.:/
And @ matching people on the road for long times -- yes, yes. The pain of the sudden departure... It's sort of romantic.
Next time I have two lanes to myself I will drive in the middle of the road
Hey peter you should try and draw something on purpose like pokemon or whatever you like i think that would be pretty cool
Hey nutcase! nice work.

Hey peter, a question for you: Do your hands ever hurt from drawing so much? i just got into doodling myself and if i draw for too long my hand hurts. Is it just a muscle you develop?

What's the pen he uses in this piece?
Wait, Peter; you said you live in Wilmington? Wilmington Ohio?
I know someone that actually drove the wrong car home from the grocery store.
