RIP Coolio. This was always my personal fav single and music video he made in his catalog. In an era of being hard in the 90s, it was fun and refreshing to see Coolio's lighthearted approach to this video.
RIP Coolio. I am Cuban, and I remember our parties were modest with very few resources, but with your music, we felt free, happy, and without deficiencies, as you were at your best. There was no Internet or Satellite TV in Cuba, but somehow your music came to cheer up all the Cuban parties in the 90s!
RIP Coolio! May God welcome you in to his loving kingdom. Thanks for gifting us this song and making the 90's so memorably awesome! Your legacy lives on!
Just heard of his passing and this is the first song that came to my mind. It stuck with me over the decades for some reason, and probably will for the rest. Goodbye Coolio!

Heaven has gained another urban music legend. R.I.P. Coolio. Please say hi to Tupac, Biggie, Eazy E, DMX, Chris Bender, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendegrass, Teena Marie, Aaliyah, Gerald Levert, Left Eye, Natina Reed of Blaque, Michael Jackson, Prince, Aretha Franklin, Soulja Slim and Big L for all of us retro urban music fans.
Read my comment above from Desiree Nasti. I love getting feedback, comments. So far I got 1 from Steve priest's daughter. For those younger people out there he was from the band sweet (ballroom blitz, Fox on the run??) Rings a bell? Well, Steve's daughter loved my comments and Gentry Jones (roll it, roll it) I listen to various selections of music. Always loved dancing and wished I could sing and still do both. Never was into hard core rap, or headbanging music. It's not music to me. I either want to bang someone's head against a wall!! Lol and when you can't understand the words to songs, how is that music? For crying out loud (meatloaf) lol, but I could be a singer with some crappie that's out there. Coolio, run dmc, whodini, those types were considered rap to me. Bc they make sense, and not a bunch of rambling shit, and not killing each other. Wtf is up with that crap?? Like you don't ever hear of Nelly Furtado and Britney Spears going after each other in their songs. Just an example by the music business is some shady shit like the rest of the people in this twisted world. But it's like Wtf is it that so called rappers are always out to get one another? Your suppose to be an artist that makes songs that make people happy, sad, or feel what that songs about. Who gives a shit what rap song, whose rap song is the top on charts? A bunch of idiots who make it personal for stupid assume reasons. That's not what a true artist, singer, songwriter does what they do for a living. Decide oh I've got Talent and I'm gonna make it big so I can play ridiculous b.s games against other artists. Yeah, that's every kids dream!! No, you play from experience, from the heart, truthful events people can relate to or cold hard facts to shove up scumbags aaes of the earth and they hear it, and it pisses them off, like politicians and the government and the lies and deception going on. Bash them not each other. Otherwise you're no better than the twisted controllers trying to knock us off. Evert I me we all divide, it makes those wack jobs gain more power and control. So you're feeding them what they want. Try standing together and piss them off. I wish every idiot rapper, or anyone who has a grudge, insecurities, narcissistic people would read this message and get a grip on reality. That is assuming you're not part of this plandemic. And that's why Coolio, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, jfk, Paul walker, Anne hesch,, Prince are dead and more. They didn't die as how we were told they died. Overdose, accidents and so on. They were all murdered bc they knew about this mess either tried to warn us, or made a comment in an interview that "they" didn't like, so what happens?? Bam, within that week, mysteriously they're dead. Pretty ironic don't yang think. Sorry for the long msg. I get so angry they've been doing this to people and I know they're lying about their cause of death bc they're evil, sadistic, twisted psychopaths and want us all fighting, distracted, dead. Coolio had recently did an interview I heard my fiance tell me. And whatever Coolio said, they weren't too happy about it. Then wine's up dead??? Come on, pretty weird that he just suddenly dies shortly after that interview. If you don't believe any of this, go take a look back starting with jfk do your research. This goes way far back. But just start looking into these people and what transpired before they mysteriously died. They all have something in common and that was they didn't want to sell their souls for greed and watch innocent people die. And when refusing to go with the plandemic and keeping quiet about it. They paid the ultimate price for us. R.i.p all who got killed bc of this bizarre shit. And may the truth come out for the world to hear, and these satanic bastards pay a huge, price of tortures hell. I pray they suffer big time!! This video of Coolio cracks me up every single time I watch it. And his facial expressions are priceless!!!
Coolio was such a fun act, but he was able to do it with quality music and flow. When he wanted to get serious he could do that too. An underrated act.

Rapper Coolio, known for hits including "Fantastic Voyage" and "Gangsta’s Paradise," has died at age 59, his manager confirmed Wednesday (28 September 2022) evening . Coolio, whose real name was Artis Leon Ivey Jr., had a music career that spanned more than three decades. Coolio won a Grammy for "Gangsta’s Paradise," which was released in 1995 and spent three weeks at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 list. He shot to fame with the hit and won a Grammy for best solo rap performance the next year.
