Hoi Diana. Das freut mich sehr zu lesen. Ja, Lugano ist toll, ausser die 70er Flachdachbauten. Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist wirklich ein Erlebnis. Mir gefiel der wirklich sehr gut!

The contrast of the Italian-speaking setting raises the question whether the Romansch-speaking part of the Grisons has its own distinctive style of market - is there even room for such a thing outside of top-price ski resorts? I would hope that somewhere in the Surselva, there might be a Geheimtipp \m/
Hii. Indeed an interesting question. I have not been to any Christmas market in the Rumantsch parts of Switzerland. I think the protestantism also has a strong influence. I shall explore one of these markets. Maybe Brigels is cheap for skiing. I have never been there though.
