The Nits is a Dutch pop group that was founded in 1974 by singer- songwriter Henk Hofstede, percussionist Rob Kloet and keyboard player Robert Jan Stips. The band was especially popular in the 1980s and had hits with songs like 'Nescio', 'In The Dutch Mountains', 'Adieu, Sweet Bahnhof' and 'Sketches Of Spain'. The Nits still perform in Holland and abroad. This live performance of “Mask” was taped at the Platen Gala, 13 October 1984 recorded in the Ahoy Hall, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Robert Jan Stips was not a member of The Nits in 1974. He can be heard for the first time on Omsk, their fifth album.
