This was one of my favorite documentaries when I was in middle school... watching it again now at 25 years old is so special and brings huge tears to my eyes. I am so excited to see how these lovely humans are doing in the sequel!!! I have tears again. Thank you for sharing!!
My father rolled his eyes at this documentary in 2007 but we watched it and it and he became really emotional and it was an educational for both him and I. I know he felt like a piece of trash for judging it based on its title and ignorance and simply giving something like that a chance was something I didn't think he had in him; He changed his tone and never looked back since. So excited to watch this sequel and share it with him.
I loved both docs! The original inspired me to become a special education teacher! Side note, was anyone kind of concerned or bothered by the fact that Adam was the only person who didn’t get to speak ? It just kinda felt like his mom and the college coordinator did all of the talking for Adam. I would have loved to hear him talk about his experience in any way that he could. It was odd seeing HOW talkative he was in the first movie and then to not hear more than a sentence from him. Just me?
What hurts me is Neil's craving for romantic love and connection but the people around him kinda make it seem impossible when it could he a way from him to be more connected and have care given to him by someone who dosnt have to but does because they love him and it's not a bother

Same! This was really cool to see!☺️
As an autistic adult (and a theatre nerd), this means a lot to me

I haven't seen the first one (and I'm kind of embarrassed that I haven't since I too am autistic) but I'll have to do that before watching the sequel.
I can’t wait to watch this! I loved the first one. I can’t wait to see what they’re all up to, now
I wasn't diagnosed when I saw the first one over 10 years ago, it'll be interesting to watch this one with new eyes.
So needed. Thank you!
As an actor this video is so inspirational...I'm gonna upskill myself more in this ...

It's a shame not to be able to see this in Spain, not even on HBO.
