In this video I install a $20 LED Underglow lighting kit from Amazon and find out that it's actually great! Install was easy, simple wiring and great little brackets to hold the LED strips in place. Bright enough to be seen and the app to control is is as simple as it gets!

I have the Temu app and i just looked for underglow for cars and it brings all kinds of them. Then is just looked for the cheapest one. It has no link option sorry
u used the short ones on the sides, supposed to be front and rear

I’m still not understanding how the strips get their power and how to hook it up.
They’re all wired together and you just run the wires to the battery or your power outlet in the car

Yep you run it off the battery or any 12v power source, really simple to wire up

@@tonycrispin unless you use the 12v cigarette port right. Because I have a hybrid so my battery is in my truck so it’s harder to set up. So just have to to use a cigarette port and hiding some wire is alot easier

I’m confident it would have, but I went off track at a Drift Event and tore one of the LED strips in half 😅
Just to double check you just used a drill to put the nails in? Don’t wanna mess my car up or decrease value 😂
You’re putting under glow on your car if you’re worried about decreasing value probably not the mod for you 😂 it comes with double sided tape if you only want to use that but the screws help hold it in and last much longer.
how are they holding up?
I eventually broke one of the strips flying off track at a drift event, but I bought another set and they’re on the car doing great! For the price it’s hard to beat!

@@tonycrispin i just bought two kits and i'm gonna see if i can splice them together to one controller so i have more coverage/brightness. any words of advice?
edit: it looks like that, from the app, you can actually control multiple kits at once. i may try that instead, and wire both controllers to one cigarette lighter port.
@@tonycrispin update: i ended up only installing one kit. i made custom brackets to hide the individual LEDs so that only the glowing effect is present. it looks super old school and i love it! it looks just like how the neon tubes looked in the golden tuner era. i posted about it on my instagram if you're curious. thanks for the great review!

I don’t know! I broke them a week later after sending my car off track at a drift event. Lol! They don’t hold up to board slides of jumps 🤣

@@raul19979 bro I just finished the night track day! They worked great until I flew off track and tore one in half but that was my own fault lol! Even now half of them still work great. Hahaha worth the $22
