As a long time rider of 38 years I don’t think these are good beginner bikes. The wheel size and handling are a lot different from a full size bike. 250’s or 300’s would be better to give you a realistic experience. These are a lot of fun and a new one will be in my possession shortly but it’s better to have something more realistic before hopping on one of these.
I got lots of experience, big bikes like cbr 1100 blackbird, 205mph on the dash. But I bought a z125 for the stints and fun. 💪🏽
They a different kind of fun lmao

So ur saying if yu never rode before that you need to learn how to ride a bigger bike first before you learn to ride this?
I want one but for like another 1200 I could get a 400 or 500 but I love these z125 even more than the grom
I would definitely say go ahead and get the 400 if ya got the extra money for sure 👌 but these little bikes are a different kind of fun lol
So if I've never ridden a bike but theoretically understood the fundamentals could I try to ride this??
For sure this bike is very forgiving 👍💯
What rpm do they red line at?
I believe its between 9 and 10 if i remember right
