All seven of my babies came tonight. They are fearless and come right up to the door for peanut butter sandwiches. I don’t know why, but they won’t eat the hotdogs. They definitely enjoy the grapes. I love how gentle they all are. Does Connor ever try to come out and greet the raccoons? My Bengal cat is very interested in them and will touch noses through the screen door. You are a better person than me, I don’t feed them all hours of the night!!

Mama is teaching them every raccoon for themselves. If they don’t pick that up now and assert themselves and something happens to her they won’t get treats. Better they learn while they are babies.

They can do damage too, people lose hunting dogs all the time from raccoons scratching their stomachs and making them bleed out. Vicious little buggers they can be.
The raccoon mother is like, "I just love my babies, I'd give my life for them! Everyone tells me what a devoted mother I am.... Hold on a minute Rascal, Jim just tossed some hot dogs to my babies - gotta go steal them from the little ones. Wouldn't want them choking on it...." LoL 😄‼️

Most of us older retired people can have night time hobbies we can sleep all morning and take naps. And living alone we can do anything that makes us happy

I get the overripe bananas that go on sale at the grocery for my raccoons. They're not as tame, but they grabbed them and run into the woods. They eat the banana peel also. You can get a stalk of overripe bananas for about $0.75.
That's what I do and feed to feed the raccoons and opossums and some stray cats in my backyard with kibbles. They are wild. I watch them behind my storm door. It's my stress release since I work night shifts and I'm a frontliner as well.
I heard a sound similar to what I hear in your videos wake me up from a nap. Mommy raccoon and baby eating from my car's dry food bowl. Baby went up a free and mom slowly followed. From now on no outdoor cat food.

The Mamas are not stealing the food. It’s because they are not getting the big pieces. It’s better if you drop the big pieces on the floor. I can see why they are forced to take the small pieces off the floor.
It’s amazing how one MAN and his RACCOONS can bring so many people together to watch. No hatred, no fighting , no cursing. Nothing but kindness and a show of love for them. All that’s going on in the world right now, when I’m watching this I forget about everything except watching the babies, if PATIENCE, WOODY RASCAL SAMMY BLACKY AND OUR BUDDY WILL BE HERE TONIGHT.
