I'm 43 now and I've only been to a waffle house once in my entire life when I was like 6 or 7. My mom and dad and I went to one when we were on vacation. I remember playing one of these songs on the jukebox and everyone laughing including my parents lol. My Dad passed in 2014 and hearing this reminds me of that early morning a long time ago. Especially when I here the song I had played. Miss and love you Dad.

When you work there and the jukebox is on auto-play eventually you hear/learn all of the songs... Yeah the are all cheese eggs on raisin toast crap but it is just like anything that is spoon fed to you over time you learn to not just stomach them but they become part of your daily diet (yes all of these puns were intended) It is sort of like hanging yourself with a rope,,,, if you hang there long enough you get use to it. My personal favorite is "Special Lady"

This really Waffles my House. They were cookin' when they made this. The only problem I had were any lyrics that were about anything that got away from the core theme of waffles.
