I made these last year. A little tip. If you pop the balloon and it sinks in. Stick another balloon on the inside at the top. With the balloon now in blow up the ballon to the size of the thread you originally wrapped. Put more stiffer on it. I use craft glue and water mixture. You can use sugar and water or liquid starch. Don't water down the starch. Myself I have had better luck with the mixture of glue and water. Then you hang them to dry again. I put a string in my bathtub going from the shower head to the end with a comand strip. I use a coat hanger and close pins and make several at once. They do drip and make a mess but its easy to just clean the tub and you can make several all at one time. I leave mine in the tub about 12 hours and after they stop dripping I hang them on my patio for another at least 12 hours. You will know when they are dry because they are not sticky but are very stiff. You can put many things in the bigger balloons and all the kids love them. I even make them for my grown kids. Lol. Hope this little tip helps and great job on the ones you made. I also put different colors of ribbon at the top and curl them and ribbon around the opening where you cut. Great JOB on making these. I LOVE your video on how you explained how to make them.💕💕💕💕
I have one I made 5 years ago and when it gets a little limp I just stick another ball on in it , blow it up and put more stiffer in it. There make really great gifts and beautiful fun decorations for Easter.
Hiya, thank you so much for this tutorial.. I do have a question.. would the wool being dipped in the sugar water attract ants? I really want to do this, but im scared I might attract ants lol
If the balloons are already wrapped would this still work?
Turned Out Beautiful...... Thanks for sharing

Thankyou for the tips! i will be sure to remember them when i make them next xx
How do you get the string to stay around the balloon? Tryd making them today and it kept coming unraveled
If the sugar and water method isn't working out for you, you could try do it with abit of white glue mixed with some water
I love it, I'd try to make it for easter 😍😍
You totally should, was super easy to make and the kids loved it :)
Hello love the idea, approximately how long did it take to dry up?
They take a fair while to dry properly, i think it was about 12 hours, but i used a hairdryer to speed up the process :)
Thanks
What size are the balloons
I used jumbo balloons :)
Awesome! How long do they last? Could they last for a long time...like years?
It's been over a year and they are still fine :)
