Was this video useful? Learn something new? Too long? Not specific enough? Loved it?

I’ve watched a ton of videos today on Cinemachine as a few people keep telling me this is the thing to learn to give my first person perspective game what it needs to record camera movements into specific story moments. Your video is easily the best at explaining what Cinemachine does. Thanks man!

Great summary, I have been using Cinemachine for many years, it just mostly works and takes a lot of the camera dev time out for the most part. And yet I didn’t know or had the chance to dig into some of them, the mixing and states cameras look quite useful.

Great video, using CM from day one in my Project.
    Cinema Follow for following Player,
Confiner for Player not see on the edge of the level,
Impulse Listener for shaking the camera.

I love cinemachine, I'm honestly surprised they didn't work on its development until just recently. It's such a useful package and eliminates a ton of "unfun" camera physics programming

Your tutorial is very useful I have to say, like the Coroutine tutorial, focusing on the dev between beginner and intermediate level.

this is an awesome tutorial! You are of equal quality to other more popular game dev channels. Hopefully you'll get the notoriety of those other channels soon.
If I could just make one small comment, take it for what it's worth. If you could speak a tad slower, I think that would help. At times it even sounds like the video is playing at 1.25 speed.

Thanks for the video words! As for speed. Yep. That's an issue. You should check out my earlier video! :P

Whoah, that compressor must be set to 20:1, hard knee, fast attack, slow release with the threshold all the way down.

Why are you showing how to add the old asset store version of Cinemachine? Nowadays it's available as a package.

Good eyes! I uninstalled and then reinstalled Cinemachine to capture a video of the install process. I didn't see that I was in the wrong section of the package manager until way late and didn't think anyone would catch my mistake ;)
