I love this leash. I have used them for years walking 2 Siberian Huskies. I need a leash that can withstand the pulling of the sled dog and this is it! I have a basket full of other leashes that were a complete waste of money. I love the length and how fast the leash is able to retract.

That lead has certainly had some abuse, looks like the dog has dragged it on the ground quite a bit. I've had one for over 5 years, they can take some punishment. The main reason people complain about them failing is they don't fully extend them and let them dry when wet, look after them and they'll work for years.

Damn what happened to your handle? Looks like your dog was using it as a chew toy! On a serious note, I have the Flexi classic for 10 years but the locking mechanism is become unreliable. I see the Giant has auto-brake. Do you like it?
