Hello, Did you have any issues fitting the Akra Headers to the Original Exhaust? Do you have the Akra part number for the Headers please so I can confirm I order the correct one? Do the Akra Headers have a servo flap in them?
i have the full system on my XR but without the db killer it's to loud in my opinion.. Now I'm not sure wether to keep the full system with db killer inside or put back the original headers and use the end can without db killer.. Any opinions/experiences?
Nice bike! I recently purchased my XR and it came with the Akra slip on. If I just add the headers would i need to re tune the bike? How’s yours running? Did the fuel consumption go up? Did you feel any power increase or just sound? Thanks, Julian

Did you change just the headers or headers + slip on?

Great without any flash, however would be even better with one.

There was none.
servo buddy from REVZILLA.. or the BREN tune will take care of it...(you just take it off)...@@Imtraned

No tune needed after replacing the headers. Whats is more After the swap the only thing that will change will be your smile much wider.

Ori muffler just headers were changed.

Titanium headers or stainless steel?
Dunno never tried it fully when it was stock exhaust hence it was blocket due to the engine settling period.

I’ve got the Cobra hypershot ultrashort on my s1000xr. Now go and search for that on RUclips and then really enjoy the sound. This was OK.
