In this preview video, I am covering HDRI lighting -- in this case imported from V-Ray Cosmos. You will see demonstrated in the video how HDRIs can be used very quickly and easily to change the entire look and feel of a rendering, almost instantly. This is great way to explore different lighting scenarios and find a lighting setup that really speaks to the viewer. Like several of the newer features of V-Ray (especially V-Ray 5 and above) these tools really free up the artist to focus on creativity rather than getting bogged down in the technical aspects of 3d.
