Yeah that's one of the tricky things about Jingliu that is made worst by using Bronya: You run out the duration of buffs really fast. So this team with Tingyun is good but you need to do play more to get used to the timings and some speed tunning so Tingyun can go before Jingliu and Bronya so you have all your buff up for a huge burst.
Yea, nothing new to Sushang mains, which is why I was so bummed when they changed it from extra action like Seele's which does not wear off buffs to advance action.
ER is way overkill on Jingliu. A proper rotation where you ult as soon as she activates Transmigration, do 3 enhanced skills, and 2 normal skills, she only has 5 energy left until she's full again, which means she just has to get hit or kill an enemy in those five turns and she's ready to go again.

If you're speed tuning Bronya to be behind Jingliu, and you have Bronya wearing the Hackerspace set: you NEED to time Bronya's Ultimate properly or else Jingliu will burn through the speed buff after her transformation gives her the 100% advance forward! I've messed up my turn order so many times because I wasn't careful about this!

She deals same level damage without being a pain in the ass with teams and sp (so imo she’s just slightly more flexible, so better in that regard) Hopefully they stop right here and all future damage dealers are about that level

Effect Hit Rate is actually not completely useless on her, since her Technique needs a bit EHR to consistently freeze enemy’s on battle entry. 60% to guarantee it on every enemy in MOC, but I wouldn’t priorities getting EHR as Stat. (I have around 35%) This was just ment as a side note and not a build recommendation, because I know some people are gonna take this the wrong way.
Lucked into her E1 by winning 2 50/50s. Her DPS is so oppressive especially combined with her ability to apply freezes interrupting additional unit summons that within a cycle or two everything but the boss/elite is removed from play. This allows her to achieve a ton of 4v1 scenarios triggering the second part of her E1. This becomes even more devastating if she's teamed with a second DPS like Blade or Clara, they are constantly sweeping everything from the field.
its the other way around you can farm the relic exp materials in daily commisions or events in hsr, in genshit you need to spend resin, farm other artifacts to upgrade artifacts🤭

Yeah, after some days, I have completely tested some iterations of my Jingliu's build to find out the differences. Out of all my tests, the ER rope build proved to be the worst performing in MoC 10, only being able clear the first half in a 4 cycles, and 3 cycles with her signature weapon equipped. By comparison, atk% rope managed to clear with an impressive 1 cycle and 0 cycle with her LC not equipped and equipped respectively. There was however 1 run where I managed to clear in 2 cycles with the help of my E1S1 Bronya. An improvement yes, but still not as good as the other runs even without Bronya.
when ur having one stack left for jingliu and its her turn, u can use the skill and you can spam the burst. you can do this as the game thinks shes still in the state
I've got both Imbibitor Lunae and Jingliu at E6, so this is an "end game" perspective if you decide to save up for constellations on a rerun banner. They are both extremely OP and significantly better than all the other previously released dps hypercarries. For whales, the optimum team for both is: Luocha/Bronya/Tingyun (Mine are E4, E2, E6). Both my Bronya and Tingyun are using the S5 Lightcone "But the battle isn't over" for the energy regen, massive damage buff (50%), and free skill points. A typical battle for IL: He gets buffed by Tingyun, then opens with an ultimate. Triggers his E2, which gives him a free 3S. Bronya uses her skill on IL and gives him another turn, so he then uses 3xskill point for another max skill attack. That gives him enough energy to recharge his ultimate. Triggers E2 for another free 3point skill. In total that does between 750k to 1 million damage on the first cycle depending on the mobs being weak to Imaginary. A typical battle for Jingliu: Start battle with her technique. Tingyun uses her skill (buffs Jingliu). Jingliu opens with an ultimate. This puts Jingliu into Spectral Transmigration. Tingyun uses her ultimate on Jingliu. Bronya uses her ultimate. Jingliu uses her skill. Jingliu recharges her ultimate, then uses it. Bronya uses her skill to give Jingliu another turn. Jingliu uses her skill. Jingliu hits for less than IL per skill, but she attacks 4-5 times per cycle (including two ultimates), which means she does around 600k-800k accumulatively. So IL is slightly better in massive alpha strikes, but skill points become a bit problematic after a couple of cycles (only vs bosses, because nothing else lives long enough to be an issue).

@@demonluck999 E2 Bronya + her lightcone both help for skill points. Also, my Luocha has the 4pc healing set for an extra skill point at the start of the battle. Like I said above, IL is totally fine for skill points for the first couple of cycles. As battles drag out, then he can sometimes run low on skill points. Tingyun makes a big difference to his sustainability, because she can use her ultimate to charge his ultimate. Then every time you use his ultimate, you get a free 3xsp skill (which does about 250k).
I got her on 15 pity....then i got her again after 5 pulls, probably my luckiest pulls ever considering I wasn't even going for her. I just wanted tingyun cons and got none
i feel u on that one bro i was in the same boat as you men i was not try to go of her but i end up getting her after my 2nd mult pull i was try to go of qingque e4 which i was one away which i did not get at all and to add more gas to that fire i did a one more 10 pull just to see if i can get my qingque but i end up getting one more 5 star after it which was yanqing with no qingque at all the hold point of my pull to get more con of my 4 star which all 4 star on this banner is will good at e6 beside sampo i do not think he e6 is need at all he good at e2 and 4
I'm in the same boat. I was pulling on her banner specifically for Ting cons and got Jing on 40 pity. I'm slightly disappointed in myself 😔 and still no tingyun copies
About E1 literally almost everywhere you kill the trash mobs with adjacent dmg and you can hit single target without minions at least once after that. So yeah , it can change a lot.
If you run auto then you want to level her basic. The AI will use it if you are low on skillpoints. Meanwhile the AI also wastes her ult outside of her enhanced state so you really don't want to auto her.
It's crazy just how bad jing yuan is compared to all the recent characters that have come. Mines E0S1 his talent is 10. 3.4k atk 51/209. I use him with fu xuan so he basically has 70 cr. Anything lower then 8 stacks he just does no dmg(with buffs btw) he needs so much set up just to do Ok dmg. Ik my build could be better but dang man it's disappointing.
jing yuan is an erudition unit, majority of the new characters are destruction, their roles are different so you cannot fairly compare their damage. kafka is a great unit, but you cannot compare her output to dan heng's. luocha might have 8k attack and not even hurt a trotter😂
Really? I was using one as support that same roughly as yours with slightly less CD. And with Tingyun buff and 8-10 stacks I found they were hitting pretty decent. Again only in content for support though.

@@jougenno, you're wrong on that. Sure they are different paths, but on the wider scope they serve the same purpose, simply do as much damage as possible. That's why you can compare them. It's not unfair. What's unfair however is your comparison of Luocha to the DPS units, because their intended purpose is different. Luocha was never meant to do much damage, Jing Yuan however was built to do damage. Unfortunately, Jing Yuan's damage capabilities are very much lacking as compared to his contemporaries. In fact, a well-built E6 Qingque with Jing Yuan's lightcones deals more consistent damage than a E0S1 Jing Yuan. Which is funny considering that a lot of Qingque's damage is supposed to be randomized.
You can look at the attack she gains by using her enhanced skill then using another characters ultimate while she is using the skill, then you can open the stat page and it will appear
The thing about Dan Heng IL is that he consumes multiple skill points per turn. Which will go great with future supports or paths that buff or rewards characters with buffs the more skill points units use. Kinda like the propogation in swarm and sim uni but imagine a support unit in the future giving the same effect. Dan Heng IL would be crazy.
Swarm and the propagation path are literally DHIL ads They are tailor made for him and the only content in the game where he genuinely feels “overpowered” But outside of that we’ll have to see Cuz a support that gives sp is not going to benefit just IL It’s going to benefit A LOT of teams

I have better luck in this game then genshin impact I got selee bronya blade jingliu and that yellow hair 5star that give us heal all early pity and I'm just level 34 I don't play this game that much I don't even know how these skill work properly and material or like weapon😂😂
asta is a good f2p support unit u can use if u build her right and pela is a good support of debuff on top of that u got tingyun the best 4 star support in the game if u build them 3 u be good on support of a long time like i be playing this game of day 1 and i never know how useful them 3 was after i build them ever with the best support i got i find them 3 can be fit on any team u need a support on no matter what u fight
Better stop pulling dps for a while and go for limited sustain like fuxuan or luocha and support. We dont have limited 5* buffer yet tho, ruanmei and hanabi coming in near future.
decimate, as far as the impact on the overall unit , is not a critical blow, it was a culling of 10% of group, so really, for one character to 'decimate' another, they would only need to be like around 10% better, give or take..
You guys dont level her basic attack since its a waste if mat but i maxed mine since she deserves it (also she's the only destruction character i leveled)
I heard no one talking about this but speed traces are really stupid. Why not just add 10 to her base speed and give her like ice dmg % or atk %? It’s so dumb. A very lazy way of buffing a character by decreasing the amount of stats they get from traces. I hate it. We can’t let Hoyo do this to any more characters. We’re already witnessing the shrinkflation of the stats and we’ll see more if we let this slide! Rise up!
I got her last night, as long as Tingyun is faster to buff her , she’s doing huge amounts of damage, I’m only level 22 on PS5 , but she really needs Ultimate regen speed then she’d fire it constantly. (She’s doing 3.5K damage - and I have woof walk time on her atm ( idh her lightcone) (idk why he’s saying her skills aren’t that good , he can’t be playing her correctly yet- Currently it’s Jingliu/Tingyun/Lynx /Herta (because she hits after every atk) I also need to at some point level Welt my first 5⭐️
mind if i give you some build recommendations? if you dont want them, feel free to ignore this! woof walk time isnt great on her, so id get the SU destruction lightcone asap, altho both 'a secret vow' and 'under the blue sky' are also rlly good if youre using the SU light cone on someone else or dont have it. id also swap out herta for pela (if you have her), as pelas aoe def shred is rlly useful. an er rope is definitely useable, given how many atk buffs she gets, but it might not be best, id just play around with both er and atk and see which one works best. enjoy your jingliu!
Constant power creep and no good story content in last 2 updates. Well, Space Station wasn't great either nor later half of Luofu. Just super grindy and repetitive events of modified simulated universe and pokemon. I really despise how big time wasters Simulated Universes are. Really disappointed in Star Rail compared to Genshin Impact. I guess Honkai Impact 3rd has the same issues as Star Rail, making Genshin the outlier of Mihoyo.
What does Genshin impact do right realistically? I heard the story in Fontaine is really good but outside that what does it have at all? It’s just as grindy and has no repeatable content at all in 3 years, yet Star Rail hasn’t even had its first anniversary. Now I do agree that Star Rail’s main story has been lackluster though. Feels like so much potential isn’t in there and there aren’t any satisfying character arcs.
@@CodeTetsu Exploration, story, (nongrindy) events, characters that are actually expanded upon and you care about. Being able to basically put the game down after finishing the good content is a huge plus, just quick farming/dailys. Not having terrible, long time consuming repetitive repeatable content like Simulated Universes is a GOOD thing. The Swarm universe is just a massive reskinned grindfest of SU and guess what, we will have a third reskin with most likely massive grindfest in this update, Planar Infinity. Aetherium Wars would be so much better if they removed all the trash mobs/fights and half the combat in general. Its story has so far not been good either, haven't finished it yet so maybe it gets better at the end. Still a massive unfun grindfest. Star Rail technically has a lot of content, just in the form of, do dozens of fights and bunch of HP sponge slow bossfights to get 8 artifacts in SU. Or do the same thing hundred times events like Underground Treasure Hunt or Aetherium Wars. Imagine the Mushroom event in Genshin, except you had to do a hundred fights to complete the event, tons of 'content'. I had ton more fun in Genshins Waterborne Poetry 1st part than the entirety (well, ~75% so far) of Aetherium Wars. I actually liked and cared about the characters and it made me smile/laugh. Most importantly, it didn't take hours of boring repetitive grinding. Then there is the whole combat comparison of Genshin having much more complex and player skill based combat, with much less RNG (actual dodging, damage avoidance and choosing who takes the hits) and most importantly that is much faster to finish fights. And I love turn based combat, I played Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous 90% in turnbased (real time easy fights) or currently Baldur's Gate 3. Their combat is more complex/better.
Powercreep wise i agree. SU also being too long i agree, thats why i only use resin for ER rope or elemental planar, even no resin i sometimes crafting rope and orb randomly to hope some good shit. Not wise to use resin on corrosion relics which u can clear fast. The only good thing is HSR content is easy anyway so u dont need feed on powercreep and just use old characters and still clear without much trouble. Hope wont be changed tho, iirc same as genshin when 4* and old characters can clear game easily snyway.
i pre farmed for her the entire of the last banner and i had everything (minus the relics which i stole from yanqing). thankfully i also had 140 wishes and got her. if i didn’t, all that prefarming wasted. (i also got lynx from the 3 wishes from her ascension so i got a new healer :D)
😂 that Effect Hit Rate is about as toxic as Def rolls in Genshin. The single target situation is fairly common because of how quickly she dispatches enemy reinforcements and leaves just the Elites/Bosses. E1 is pretty worth it.
I wish everyone the same luck I had. I got her accidentally, at soft pity (around 20 -30) and won the 50/50. I was just building pity for either topaz and numby or Argentino. Edit: I managed to get her signature light cone. The f2p luck came in handy.
Kinda, I used 115 pulls on Seele banner to get her and E1 when the game launched, Used 88 on Jing Yuan, 76 for SW, 155 For Loucha E1, 37 For Blade, Used 10 on Kafka but didn't get her, 24 To get DHIL, And 40 on Fu Xuan banner but didn't get her either, Then I saved everything else. But I have been around since launch and have logged in everyday for an hour or two and done the dailies and events etc. Plus I also will sometimes get the battle pass and I usually get the 5$ express pass every month. As well as I got gifted 150$ of Jades from one of my friends at the launch of the game but that only added up to be somewhere around 75 pulls.

When you have her e1 you'd be surprised how much down time some bosses and semi bosses have with spawning the minions.

The Ice fat robot boss spawns every 1 turn CD.

I got her on 15 pity....then i got her again after 5 pulls, probably my luckiest pulls ever considering I wasn't even going for her. I just wanted tingyun cons and got none

E1 basically makes her better in single target, making her damage more consistent, idk why that's ONLY considered to be an "okay" Eidolon.
About E1 literally almost everywhere you kill the trash mobs with adjacent dmg and you can hit single target without minions at least once after that.
So yeah , it can change a lot.
I think when farming for calyx we should fight twice not six times cause the drop rate might be better I think so

If you run auto then you want to level her basic. The AI will use it if you are low on skillpoints. Meanwhile the AI also wastes her ult outside of her enhanced state so you really don't want to auto her.
I'm also discussing Jingliu..In my opinion, all the 5 star characters in Honkai Star Rail are the best

It's crazy just how bad jing yuan is compared to all the recent characters that have come. Mines E0S1 his talent is 10. 3.4k atk 51/209. I use him with fu xuan so he basically has 70 cr. Anything lower then 8 stacks he just does no dmg(with buffs btw) he needs so much set up just to do Ok dmg. Ik my build could be better but dang man it's disappointing.
jing yuan is an erudition unit, majority of the new characters are destruction, their roles are different so you cannot fairly compare their damage. kafka is a great unit, but you cannot compare her output to dan heng's. luocha might have 8k attack and not even hurt a trotter😂
Really? I was using one as support that same roughly as yours with slightly less CD. And with Tingyun buff and 8-10 stacks I found they were hitting pretty decent. Again only in content for support though.
@@cyndrez9694 yeah 8 to 10 stacks he can do dmg. Just wish his kit was a bit different bc at lower stacks his dmg isn’t the best and for me I can’t always be at 8 or more. I guess for me I should’ve just skipped, sadly if I like a character’s design I’m gonna go for them :/.
@@jougenno, you're wrong on that. Sure they are different paths, but on the wider scope they serve the same purpose, simply do as much damage as possible. That's why you can compare them. It's not unfair. What's unfair however is your comparison of Luocha to the DPS units, because their intended purpose is different. Luocha was never meant to do much damage, Jing Yuan however was built to do damage. Unfortunately, Jing Yuan's damage capabilities are very much lacking as compared to his contemporaries. In fact, a well-built E6 Qingque with Jing Yuan's lightcones deals more consistent damage than a E0S1 Jing Yuan. Which is funny considering that a lot of Qingque's damage is supposed to be randomized.

Genius set is only worth if you use E4 Pela to stack the def ignore, otherwise you better go for Ice set.
You can look at the attack she gains by using her enhanced skill then using another characters ultimate while she is using the skill, then you can open the stat page and it will appear

The thing about Dan Heng IL is that he consumes multiple skill points per turn. Which will go great with future supports or paths that buff or rewards characters with buffs the more skill points units use. Kinda like the propogation in swarm and sim uni but imagine a support unit in the future giving the same effect. Dan Heng IL would be crazy.

asta is a good f2p support unit u can use if u build her right and pela is a good support of debuff on top of that u got tingyun the best 4 star support in the game if u build them 3 u be good on support of a long time like i be playing this game of day 1 and i never know how useful them 3 was after i build them ever with the best support i got i find them 3 can be fit on any team u need a support on no matter what u fight
Better stop pulling dps for a while and go for limited sustain like fuxuan or luocha and support. We dont have limited 5* buffer yet tho, ruanmei and hanabi coming in near future.
decimate, as far as the impact on the overall unit , is not a critical blow, it was a culling of 10% of group, so really, for one character to 'decimate' another, they would only need to be like around 10% better, give or take..
for the Trace 10 the cape is 2,395.9 or 2,396 so if he max his trace up he be needing 182 more.

I heard no one talking about this but speed traces are really stupid. Why not just add 10 to her base speed and give her like ice dmg % or atk %? It’s so dumb. A very lazy way of buffing a character by decreasing the amount of stats they get from traces. I hate it. We can’t let Hoyo do this to any more characters. We’re already witnessing the shrinkflation of the stats and we’ll see more if we let this slide! Rise up!

I got her last night, as long as Tingyun is faster to buff her , she’s doing huge amounts of damage, I’m only level 22 on PS5 , but she really needs Ultimate regen speed then she’d fire it constantly. (She’s doing 3.5K damage - and I have woof walk time on her atm ( idh her lightcone) (idk why he’s saying her skills aren’t that good , he can’t be playing her correctly yet-
Currently it’s Jingliu/Tingyun/Lynx /Herta (because she hits after every atk) I also need to at some point level Welt my first 5⭐️
mind if i give you some build recommendations? if you dont want them, feel free to ignore this! woof walk time isnt great on her, so id get the SU destruction lightcone asap, altho both 'a secret vow' and 'under the blue sky' are also rlly good if youre using the SU light cone on someone else or dont have it. id also swap out herta for pela (if you have her), as pelas aoe def shred is rlly useful. an er rope is definitely useable, given how many atk buffs she gets, but it might not be best, id just play around with both er and atk and see which one works best. enjoy your jingliu!

Constant power creep and no good story content in last 2 updates. Well, Space Station wasn't great either nor later half of Luofu.
Just super grindy and repetitive events of modified simulated universe and pokemon. I really despise how big time wasters Simulated Universes are.
Really disappointed in Star Rail compared to Genshin Impact. I guess Honkai Impact 3rd has the same issues as Star Rail, making Genshin the outlier of Mihoyo.
What does Genshin impact do right realistically? I heard the story in Fontaine is really good but outside that what does it have at all? It’s just as grindy and has no repeatable content at all in 3 years, yet Star Rail hasn’t even had its first anniversary. Now I do agree that Star Rail’s main story has been lackluster though. Feels like so much potential isn’t in there and there aren’t any satisfying character arcs.
@@CodeTetsu Exploration, story, (nongrindy) events, characters that are actually expanded upon and you care about. Being able to basically put the game down after finishing the good content is a huge plus, just quick farming/dailys.
Not having terrible, long time consuming repetitive repeatable content like Simulated Universes is a GOOD thing. The Swarm universe is just a massive reskinned grindfest of SU and guess what, we will have a third reskin with most likely massive grindfest in this update, Planar Infinity.
Aetherium Wars would be so much better if they removed all the trash mobs/fights and half the combat in general. Its story has so far not been good either, haven't finished it yet so maybe it gets better at the end. Still a massive unfun grindfest.
Star Rail technically has a lot of content, just in the form of, do dozens of fights and bunch of HP sponge slow bossfights to get 8 artifacts in SU. Or do the same thing hundred times events like Underground Treasure Hunt or Aetherium Wars.
Imagine the Mushroom event in Genshin, except you had to do a hundred fights to complete the event, tons of 'content'.
I had ton more fun in Genshins Waterborne Poetry 1st part than the entirety (well, ~75% so far) of Aetherium Wars. I actually liked and cared about the characters and it made me smile/laugh. Most importantly, it didn't take hours of boring repetitive grinding.
Then there is the whole combat comparison of Genshin having much more complex and player skill based combat, with much less RNG (actual dodging, damage avoidance and choosing who takes the hits) and most importantly that is much faster to finish fights. And I love turn based combat, I played Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous 90% in turnbased (real time easy fights) or currently Baldur's Gate 3. Their combat is more complex/better.

Powercreep wise i agree. SU also being too long i agree, thats why i only use resin for ER rope or elemental planar, even no resin i sometimes crafting rope and orb randomly to hope some good shit.
Not wise to use resin on corrosion relics which u can clear fast. The only good thing is HSR content is easy anyway so u dont need feed on powercreep and just use old characters and still clear without much trouble. Hope wont be changed tho, iirc same as genshin when 4* and old characters can clear game easily snyway.
i pre farmed for her the entire of the last banner and i had everything (minus the relics which i stole from yanqing). thankfully i also had 140 wishes and got her. if i didn’t, all that prefarming wasted. (i also got lynx from the 3 wishes from her ascension so i got a new healer :D)

😂 that Effect Hit Rate is about as toxic as Def rolls in Genshin.
The single target situation is fairly common because of how quickly she dispatches enemy reinforcements and leaves just the Elites/Bosses. E1 is pretty worth it.

I wish everyone the same luck I had. I got her accidentally, at soft pity (around 20 -30) and won the 50/50. I was just building pity for either topaz and numby or Argentino.
Edit: I managed to get her signature light cone. The f2p luck came in handy.
Managed to get E5S1 from my 324 pulls I saved since luocha. I'm so happy she turned out this great really worth the months of waiting and saving

Kinda, I used 115 pulls on Seele banner to get her and E1 when the game launched, Used 88 on Jing Yuan, 76 for SW, 155 For Loucha E1, 37 For Blade, Used 10 on Kafka but didn't get her, 24 To get DHIL, And 40 on Fu Xuan banner but didn't get her either, Then I saved everything else. But I have been around since launch and have logged in everyday for an hour or two and done the dailies and events etc. Plus I also will sometimes get the battle pass and I usually get the 5$ express pass every month. As well as I got gifted 150$ of Jades from one of my friends at the launch of the game but that only added up to be somewhere around 75 pulls.

Powercreep definitely doesn't hit as hard when there's no PvP (yet). Outside of Honkai 3rd which is the most hardcore of the three mainline Hoyo games rn.
Jingliu still makes Yanqing useless but that's about right.
