- Celebrate Your Creative Self: Mixed Media Art Class - 100 Days of Collage aims to inspire creativity, improve artistic skills, and foster self-expression through the medium of mixed media collage. Each lesson, participants will create one-page collage in their art journals (or preferred substrate), exploring various themes, prompts, and techniques to build a comprehensive and diverse body of work.
The purpose of the art journal is so you have the freedom to experiment, to play, to mess up and to truly develop your creativity. There’s no pressure with an art journal to perform, or to exhibit your art, no perfection is needed. You can freely create and that is what we want to achieve. To really allow the real you to come out and play. If you don’t want to use a commercial art journal you can make your own, or work on loose pages and bind them together at the end. This collection, this journey will be something that you will want to keep and look back on to remind yourself not only of the techniques, but the personal breakthroughs that creating art can achieve.
This video is an Introduction to the epic journey that could change your life! Or at least deeply impact your heart! We will discuss the goal of this art class, the purpose of the art journal approach, the duration of the course, why I am so passionate about creating collage, and the subjects that we are going to cover in this first Week 1.

Oh my gosh, are you telling us why you create and why others should create just slapped me upside the face. Not in a bad way, of course but I started my art journey shortly after my mother passed. I did that and I started meditating. Both were to help me through the pain. I still meditate every evening. But I have let my creative side Go whilst I deal with depression and anxiety. But your bubbly personality and your enthusiasm has me wanting to step back up to the Canvas, so to speak. Thank you. Thank you for giving me an outlet again. I am grateful.

How exciting can’t wait. It’s hard to explain to my friends and family why creating helps my mental health I had a car accident several years ago and since then have this ringing in my ear plus the death of my sister and some close friends to cancer when I create the sounds goes away and I’m not thinking of who has left a void in my heart.
