this is so cool! its pretty much the adult version of those one swings on backyard swing sets! as a child one of my neighbors had one of the kiddie version of this swing on their swing set, and i thought it was the coolest thing ever for some reason! i wanted one so bad! 😂
Thanks. I built this 4 years ago and about 6 months ago I put a metal roof over the top of the existing wooden roof. The sun had shrunk the boards so much it actually allowed water to come thru. It now has a copper color metal roof and it is stained a little darker too.
I didn't have any plans. Just a picture. Took a little while to figure out angles of cuts. I built the seats first and then built the frame around them. It was definitely a learn as you go project!
@@danbooger1 I’m sorry I do not. The customer I built this for had downloaded a picture and asked me if I could build something similar. I googled it and found the exact one she did and looked up their website. It didn’t have the plans but it did have “assembly instructions” and it had measurements. All I had to figure out were the angles and a few tweaks to make mine a bit larger.

Thank you.

Good Job! It look like it really moves nice.
Looks great. Where did you get the plans?
What hardware did you use?
