- this is my new hsa100 hedge trimmer by stihl
using the ap300s battery we managed to get a days worth of trimming done
the trimmer is very quiet and ideal for these kind of hedges
the weight is comparable to the hs82 in weight, and almost comparable with power.

Just having a watch ,the now mate😅 it's really satisfying doing box hedging , I have to do a lot of corrections on hedge's for costumer were The gardeners before or customer did not seem to care about the dips and up and down.
yeah, Lee from lhl has done a massive correction, the hedges were all over the place, should see them now, he has done an amazing job
Where was the catcher you spoke bout ? The orange thing on the blade is just a guard, a proper catcher sweeps the cuttings off and leaves it very tidy for you 👍🏻
I haven't had a chance to buy it yet,
Hi , been trying to buy one of these but the local suppliers don’t have any in stock .
The catcher plate would be really good add on .
Which battery are you using ?
Regards
Drew in south Belfast .
I am using the ap300s, which makes the system way almost the same as a petrol version, but lasts a long time, throughout my general day I usually get through no more than 3 batteries, this is blowing strimming and edging with the off bit of hedge trimming using the kma135, my customer bought one and uses the ap200 battery, which is noticeably lighter, but \i don't know how long these would last
I’ve got one it’s a decent machine just a shame they don’t do one with a longer blade
funnily enough, the customer at this place where it was filmed, has bought one and said the opposite
Hi Reas, what are your first thoughts on the Stihl hedge trimmer compared to the Ego hedge trimmer ? Cheers.
its great for lighter hedge work, but found by kma135r with hedge trimmer attachment more powerful, it does snag a bit, which can me a problem, its nice a light depending on the battery you use, and its defiantly quiet, a nice addition to our kit, wont replace my petrol one i think is a hs82 30" blade
If you think that’s “awesome”, you should try the new ECHO dhc-2200 / 2800 battery hedge trimmer. It’s much better quality than the Stihl, but you pay the price!
if they want to give me a demo i would try it
Sounds a bit underpowered
not really considering, I don't expect it to cut through pyracantha or anything, but so fare I like it., they are just very quiet
