It's curious how Russians adopted an Italian communist song, Bandiera rossa, and Italians adopted a Russian (communist?) song "katiusha" ("fischia il vento").

In the 60th an uncle of mine became the leader of his town of the "Italian Socialist Party - Proletarian Unity" (PSIUP) 🇻🇳and his group used for propaganda to play this song with a speaker set up on a little van. 🚚 The former office🏢 of the party PSIUP today is a delicatessen. ☹️
