      This is the Ансамбль "Гренада". I strongly advise you to listen to the album "No Pasaran!" about the civil war in Spain and "Чили в сердце" about the events in Chile in the 1970s.

    It's curious how Russians adopted an Italian communist song, Bandiera rossa, and Italians adopted a Russian (communist?) song "katiusha" ("fischia il vento").

    • @europa2006
      @europa2006 3 года назад +6

      That actually quite makes sense because the Soviets aimed at "Proletarian internationalism", which doesn't see national borders valid. However, they used that "Internationalism" not only in songs but also in invading other countries.

      @@europa2006 on the other side, we have the USA, that affirm to be the land of freedom and democracy, but use to invade and bomb other countries in the world. More, they depict my people in their racist movies/cartoons like evil cavemen and bloodthirsty.

    In italian that "la" is the article "the" but its position after the noun "Bandiera" (flag) means that the language used is actually a northern dialect (in standard Italian would be "la bandiera rossa trionferà"). In the 60th an uncle of mine became the leader of his town of the "Italian Socialist Party - Proletarian Unity" (PSIUP) 🇻🇳and his group used for propaganda to play this song with a speaker set up on a little van. 🚚
    The former office🏢 of the party PSIUP today is a delicatessen. ☹️

      @@andrewthegoat9383 At least it's missing the refrain which is here in Italian. I managed to find this video ruclips.net/video/hl36ZcdkDNs/видео.html which has a significantly longer version but it's also a different translation. I have yet to hear a full version of this video's version.
