Before there was Jevil, there was Dimentio, and before there was Dimentio there was Marx, and somewhere in between there was sans.
Specifically between dimentio and jevil, except that doesn't really fit because he's not a jester

Dimentio was one of the greatest Nintendo villains and we only got one game with him.

Who cares about doing math homework, when a remix that combines two beautiful tracks from my two favorite games of all times is about to go live.

I’ll honestly never get over how much these two games have in common especially since they both have souls as the main muggins, and the person you think is a side antagonist ends up betraying you by killing the antagonist you thought was the main villain both which gave up, and accepted mercy over death.

@Loogi 12 both involve manipulation of spacetime in some way undertales saving is canonically a form of time manipulation and flipping into 3D is spatial manipulation as well as the doorways in flipside being portals
The prologue in both also takes place somewhere that’s not visited for the rest of the game (the mushroom kingdom and outside the ruins entrance to the underground)
Both have a backstory about an ancient civilization
Both have powerful colorful hearts
Both have a laboratory where horrible experiments take place
Both have a flower boss that’s gone insane due to some external factor
Both reference the mother series (the underchomp battle is based on mother 1 if I remember correctly)
Both involve the total destruction of reality and its restoration
Just to note not all of these are intentional references they show up in a lot of fiction but it is interesting anyway

Dimentio deciding to turn sans as his slave and fuse with him may be even scarier than the abomination created thanks to the power of Luigi:
At the beginning, the power of the Chaos Heart makes it impossible to deal damage to him
Then, once the Pure Hearts nullify the barrier around him, he just starts dodging forever
This while sending extremely hard to avoid attacks of all kind
Thing is, Super Dimentio attacks physically, and Sans is way worse at this than Luigi

I loved super dimentio fight, the trick to make it actually challenging is to stay on 3d, so you don't get bowser's damage boost, your hp drains, and the platforming is trickier, and the Jevil fight is just already great
I even read the title and was still caught off guard by the fact that it wasn't World is Revolving since they're literally the same character
They have similar color schemes and designs but jevil is chaotic while dimentio is like the exact opposite, planning things since the beginning of the game.

You know, considering that both Dimentio and Sans are able to manipulate reality and have knowledge of external universes, you could think of Dimentio as a "Sans gone bad" sort of deal.
I also see a fair bit of Bleck in Sans, especially considering his promise to Toriel. Who, much like Bleck's lover, has a questionable mortal state when you confront their old companion.

@@spookysunglasses4004 She’s painted as a generally terrible person which is enough to warrant her as a bad guy in my books, regardless, she is commonly portrayed fighting Sans, and as far as we know, Sans is the good guy, so by process of elimination, I typically see her as a villain, even though we don’t actually have any solid evidence that she is one

@@EmeraldEleki7 again, there isn’t any solid evidence, but Sans seems to definitely be the good guy, I’m simply accepting the label that the community has put on Chara, as she is almost always portrayed fighting Sans, whether she is controlled by the player or not, I’m not saying it’s fact, I’m just accepting that idea until we get more story behind it
