  • HMS Ocelot was an Oberon class, diesel-electric, submarine that was commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1964. She served throughout the Cold War before being decommissioned in 1991.
Thankfully she has been preserved and can be seen as part of an excellent guided tour, included in the admission fee, at the Chatham Historic Dockyard. As it's a guided tour, I didn't have the time to film for as long or or as much as I would liked to have done, but I hope you enjoy the video nonetheless.
The Dockyard is easy to get to from Chatham town centre or railway station (5 minutes or so by bus or taxi or around a 25 minute walk). Some of the other highlights at the dockyard are HMS Cavalier and HMS Gannet and you are free to tour them for as long as you like.
Anyway, thanks for watching and feel free to leave any comments or questions below.
