When you wanna use your own electrical devises, think on the adapters for europe ^^
And make sure everything is rated for 230V or get a transformer rather than just a simple passive plug adapter, the voltage difference between the US and European power networks is pretty big, and while afaik most modern devices can handle both, worst case you start a fire.

Keep the splitter/ power strip with you and take 1 plug adapter/voltage converter

Tank! If you don't need those old set lists, you should sign them and give them away to subscribers! That would be dope. I always try to get a set list when I go to a show!
As a former talent manager overseas, I loved it, it was so much fun to watch this. I'd love to see how you put all the stuff back in the case.

Also often asked by border guards. So for stuff like pens and sharpies, I used to put those into clear ziplock bags. Can save a little space, and some time not having customs people opening every box. Also next EC video, I'm going to be looking out for pink stickers on foreheads!

This is awesome, I got a Pelican 1510 about 7 years ago for my personal luggage when touring simply because I was tired of my stuff getting broken, and haven't had anything get broken since. Touring really teaches you how to pack efficiently in everyday life!

Besides the electronics, check out the staples and stapler. If your stapler has staples in inches you may be unable to stock up here, as ours are metric.

Lol I only just discovered that Blu-Tack isnt common in the US. In Australia you're hard pressed to find a home that doesnt at least have bits of it everywhere for posters and stuff, and a pack in a kitchen drawer has been standard everywhere since the 80s
As a kid I used to steal some Blu-Tack behind the posters at school to bring it back home and hang all my posters with it. Every kid was obsessed by it, and honestly still are, my kid do the same as I did back in the day 😂

I would love to see the rider u send to venues or even some excerpts if allowed also would love to know lessons learned from the first tour that will make the next one easier
Yeah that rider would be interesting, I dont think it would be what most people expect.
People have been blowing up Matt Horns' comments section with nothing but positives for his drum tech videos with falling in reverse.
This will be a great change for you, just be sure to continue commentating through the videos, you have that radio voice that just keeps me wondering what cool stuff you are going to say next.
A good reminder is go pros love LOTS of light. The better lit the subject you're shooting is, the better it will look.
Also they are great for a timelapse. Set it up in the corner of the production office one day pn tour plugged into a usb batter bank and shoot a time lapse of everything that happens in the office during a normal day, time lapse of load in/out and setup.
Then you can do voiceover while the time lapse is playing and you dont have to be on camera for that part of the video. Unless you really want to be.

Not pointless. I found it very useful as I also need to travel around with my office in a container. A mess of sharpies or paperclips at the bottom is a universal experience.
Always interesting to hear what people actual have in their toolboxes (and actually use)

Get some trekpak and pouches and organize that case. Also a lid organizer so all the pens and little stuff doesn’t get scattered everywhere. As a Camera Assistant that uses Pelicans this hurts.

Love my Pelican cases for travel. No airline has managed to destroy any of my suitcases or camera cases yet!

I am looking forward to when Electric Callboy come back to Scotland. I discovered them because of you and I literally discovered them the day after they played at the O2 Academy and I was heartbroken because I would have loved to have seen them live. So I bought a Tank the Tekkno hoodie to make me feel better about it, from your merch store. I'm fat, so the official merch doesn't fit me. If they do come back to Scotland, I hope you're there with them because I will be wearing that hoodie, I don't think I would be a fan if I didn't find your channel.
Oh they'll come back! I was at that gig and was at the Newcastle gig the year prior. The Glasgow one was 100x more pumped than Newcastle so they'll definitely be back.
It sucks that the majority of band merch doesn't go above an XXL 'cause I can never buy merch from the tour with my rectangle ass body shape.

I saw EC last October in Bristol, seeing Nothing More in February in between their EC shows, gutted the new EC tour misses the UK, sounds like the perfect storm of awesome bands
I've been wanting to see Electric Callboy and missed out the last time they came to the states. I saw Nothing More a few years back and their energy was off the charts.
Please do make sections/compartments for everything in this case. Everything has its own place, doesn’t move and you can get it straight out of the case where you left it without moving stuff first and having it be a mess. Very convenient 🤗 loved this content. Are you assisting for Marek?

I hope your printer lasts a long time. We had to replace ours recently & manufacturers are starting to make generic cartridges not work. We started researching it & it's apparently a known thing now.
My mom used to make me hang my posters with blue tack back in the day. I hated it but my posters definitely had a much longer life than many of my friends'. It used to be called Fun Tack in the 80s & 90s
Have you thought about adding a lid organizer to maximize space and help with organization?
I absolutely love packing stuff and making things fit nicely so I am sad your go pro died at the end 😂
Also as someone who loves to get my hands on a setlist at the end of the night this pile of setlists was a heavenly sight 😂

stock up on batteries!!!!!! as a go pro user keep at least 3 batteries for each camera. do not charge them until they are down to 35% and do not charge longer than 2 hours because the batteries will swell over time and go boom

When I toured back in the 90’s we had a special sawed off bowling pin that one would have to wear IF you lost your lamie…curious if those kinda “penalty box” shenanigans still happen??
I'm probably not the first one to say it, but: get a converter/adapter for the electronics that you bring with you.

Is it me or is the workbox displaying a fused version of an Algis and Raido Viking runes? I thought about this when you got the Odin out of the box. I guess you can read that as XR or ZR, depending on the Algis. Anyway, thanks for the great insider info!

What thickness are the laminating pouches you use for your door signs, 5 mil or 10 mil?

Great you already have an laminator. Its an impotant item in germany. Nobody here follows paper signs, except they are laminated. Then the sign is not a recommendation, its law!

Yo my dude! Take it from someone who's probably got mild organizational OCD. You need to compartmentalize that case to contain the mess. Using square or rectangle tupperware containers with lids will keep all your stuff easier to manage. No more diggin to the bottom to find that super special sharpie. Then you can fill the spaces between the containers with foam to keep it all secured in place while moving!
