Coming from a point in my life where I was on the verge of fully surrendering to the universe again. But yesterday, while drinking my coffee, I realised that that is not the way I am supposed to go. I was actually yearning for some kind of balance between the more abstract and spiritual world and the physical realm I chose to be born into. There have been moments where I have benefitted from combining ♓️ and ♍️ energy. So, yes, I do not think that you need to fully move towards your North Node. Balancing it out does a good job. I have a lot of Virgo energy in my chart, so I was naturally more inline with my Virgo North Node already and I actually had to learn how to integrate more of my Pisces South Node. So I agree, I believe you are supposed to learn the balance of the two energies and integrate both of them.
