      Love the video as always couldn't ask for better, I just came across a guy that was insanely big and strong for his era, Have you ever heard of Craig Monson? Could he have been like the Ronnie Coleman of the golden era? Was he the first true mass monster? You should do a video of him, also could he have been stronger than Ronnie Coleman? It would be interesting to see a comparison of the two!!

    Great video, very interesting. I enjoy your comparison videos. Only 2 thing I would disagree with is the free weight overhead press is extremely harder than using a Smith Machine, and alternate hammer curls are far harder and exhausting than single arm. Single arm Smaev can focus only on that arm whereas Larry has to balance and fight to hold this big bells in hand. I think both guys are very similar in overall strength which says something about Larry being 50-60 lbs lighter.

    • @StrengthUniverse
      @StrengthUniverse  Месяц назад

      disagree on the overhead? I listed it as a draw because Andrey used a smith machine which is considerably easier, so we actually agree on that.
      Re the Hammer curl, at lighter weights I agree but Imagine going to a gym and lifting a DB that is over 60% of bodyweight with one arm; it will pull you off balance without a weight on the opposing side to help counterbalance the load.
