Dre I could just sit and watch tuning videos all day I swear. Love seeing the truck go through the process!! Thanks man, I am never on FB, too many armchair experts that seem to know everything. I will have to figure a different way to pass contact info. Have a great weekend!
@marknugent2574 I've pretty much had the same luck with Traxxas carbs idle. It's usually high and will start cutting off when you try to lower it. My Nitro Slash, Nitro Rustler, T-Maxx Classic and Revo 2.5R all have the Traxxas carbs. Out of these, the T-Maxx Classic seems have the better idle. That's about the best tune I've gotten so far on the Traxxas carbs.
Ask and ye shall receive 😀. I’m still using the stock carb so I’m finding the adjustments to be more like 1/4 turns and whatever in between to see a difference instead of hourly. But other than a slight 2 stage idle atm it’s def getting there. When I get home from work today I’ll try again 😊👍
I needed this video as well. Only been in the hobby a few months I’ve got a revo 3.3 with the 11kr carb. and a Jato 3.3. How can you tell if your idle gap is to small or is that such a thing?
@Suave_kash i usually start with it flush as well. Then, once the other 2 are set to my liking, only then will I adjust my idle set screw. It may or may not need adjustments. Depending on the idle at that 5e
@reeamcustomrc3466 i would continue to lean the low speed needle until it idles. Also, check and replace your glow plug. You can also check out the Facebook group "Nitro Gang". You'll surely find the answer you're looking for there.

Cool wat about the other two do u touch them or not right but wat about the other one it’s 4 on the os 11k carb
@reeamcustomrc3466 yes. I mentioned the first two in the video. The idle set screw is adjusted afterwards, usually to close the gap to lower the idle.
@ the one right under the idle screw the silver one
