Liam Cunningham Brought Conan The Infamous Coffee Cup From "Game Of Thrones" | CONAN on TBS

Of course Davos would be the best smuggler.
Nicely phrased!
It’s just a simple product placement that’s all. 😁
Well said!
Han Solo, Mal Reynolds, Davos Seaworth......the best smugglers make a show great! (Let's hope he survives)
He should have taken a string of onions too.
He wouldn't be the greatest smuggler in Westeros if he didnt take the most stuff right?
Uhm, you wanna rephrase that a bit? :)
“The cup was a little more pivotal than the scene” 😂💀
hehehhe
How I feel about all of this last season.
True
Nothing has ever been so true.
Jolie Oof “These things happen” ya, when companies pay for it, like in this case that dirty shmuck.
Conan now has an artifact. A relic. Hold onto it forever
Night Water 👍😆
Obviously it's not the original one. Different colour, different brand (they revealed it wasn't a starbucks cup), and by the way, that scene was the first one to be shot, so almost one year ago.
Sell it on Ebay, probably will make a fortune.
@@varmakarma9020 first of all, it wasn't starbucks. Of course it did exist, but I guess that cup was thrown away! Come on! It's obvious they didn't realise that cup was on set, otherwise they would have photoshopped it away!
AnwaNarwen and it still made it to air? Kay..
I love this man like the grandpa i never had. he's so funny and humble.
grandpa????? he's 57 😧
@@Nikki_94
Yes, grandpa. You can be a grandpa at 57.
@@Nikki_94 my brother became a grandfather at 52
@@laziadwobbit5331 My ex's mom was pregnant at 16 and so was her mom. So his granny became a granny at freaking 32. 57 is not at all that weird!
@@memory4479 that's sarcasm right?
I want 8 seasons of Better Call Davos!
The Mountain can play Huell
@@JH-dr4xo who's gonna be the guy who bill burr plays
Bill Burr (Ruby) is the Bron of New Mexico. The mountain is too scary and I can’t imagine him being good at pick pocketing though lol
Melisandre = Kim?
The Hound = Mike?
Gendry = Nacho?
Who would be Howard, Chuck and Gus though?
Ser Davos Seaworth, first of his name, liberator of props, protector of the doodads.
Best comment
and curator of the wall of awesome
He is saving the props and doodads from having to have any more to do with this last season.
When he mentioned the Stag that he carved Shireen, I got a little teary
Everyone : there's a coffee cup in front of Dany...
Benioff & Weiss : we thought a coffee cup would subvert expectations... And the cup thought it was a great idea...
Honestly, the cup was THE best part about the episode :)
But Lord Coffee of House Cup is an important character, he's currently making a deal with Ser Twenty of House Goodman to reveal the identity of the new prince of Dorne.
"We're leaving it up to the viewers to decide for themselves what the cup means."
lol He is Davos in real life.
In psychology it’s called Role Playing where playing a role can influence or change one’s attitude
Edit: Attitude is classified as: Belief and feeling that predisposes one to respond in a particular way to *objects*, people, and events
@@AnneWest_ ?
He also probably snatched Melisandre's ruby necklace.
..and gave it to his daughter.
wait a minute...
Ooo I'd take that too given the chance.
Yes and maybe uses it to save someone ?
Since this is about coffee,
*_where is Jordan Schlansky?_*
They just forgot to include him, like they forgot the cup. Its fitting
@@legendaryoutcast4440 he wouldn't consider Starbucks coffee
doing his various tasks
He despises american coffee
They shot this durring his bi-annual italy trip
Kit Harington wanted Longclaw and they won't give it to him. But Liam...liberated a Dothraki sword, perhaps even Ice and others. 😂
Because Kit Harington asked for it.
Liam Cunningham went straight for the liberating.
Imagine sneaking Ice off the set thats got to be the biggest valyrian steel sword in the show XD
Tbf, one situation is about **a** sword out of a whole bunch whereas longclaw is a bit more unique.
Kit took home Jon's Crypt statue from the Seaon 8 first teaser so he got something.
he is the greatest smuggler 🤣😂😅
That cup was better written than some characters this season
cup has more character development in one episode than ghost for the last few seasons. Cries.
@@HyperactiveKid153 hahhahaha
Need to stop filling your cups with that Hateorade
Just be entertained, pleb.
WINTER IS just a JOKE!
Sir Davos may be my favorite character on Game of Thrones, to be honest. Good man. Very witty.
he did survive a few battles without ever fighting. Even against the whitewalkers
you could call him cunning :D
Yes I loved him too!!!
Yes! I love Ser Davos! I'm relieved that he survived the entire show.
You go Onion Knight!
From Dark Souls?
2:27 The burnt stag he gave to Shereen.
It always reminds me of how good that scene was when he said "I treated that girl like she was my own" ..
I still get the chills. Good Job Liam! You're amazing! An epic Ser Davos in real life! hahahaha
Right?!, when he says she was GOOD 😢
If they turned the cup around it reads: “Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons”
We have all seen the meme already
Mover of eyebrows
"Mother of -Dragons- Drogon"
:-(
I bet it's spelled wrong
Love Liam Cunningham! Awesome actor that seems like a great guy.
Valar Macchiatis.
This deserves to be pinned
Hmm, now we're wondering if any props from The Hot Zone have made it to Liam's "Wall of Awesome"...
Nat Geo commenting?!!
National Geographic getting only 2 likes in one year, sorry that you were buried in the comments.
I liberated stuff hahahahahhahaah caught me with flatbed truck im deadddd
Knighthawk D seriously such a shitty little joke like that has you haha-ing and the flat bed truck thing kills you! You've got a pathetic sense of humour. Pathetic!
crapitoutjim wow ur dumb
@@crapitoutjim It's funny dude! because his character is a smuggler with a ship and in real life he did that with a flatbed truck 😂😂😂
It would be funny if he said a major spoiler, like: I took Daenerys tombstone
Lol he kinda does when he says he liberated the items kinda like when Dany in her mind thinks she liberated Kings Landing.
HBO said it wasn’t Starbucks it was from a small coffee shop in Ireland. 😂
Love you Conan from Australia
What they didn't say was that the coffee was a mocha latte with a sprig of cinnamon.
It was Tall Decaf Coconut Mocha Macchiato with 2 Pumps of Hazelnut and Cinnamon on Top.
If they lighten up the battle of winterfell more probably we can see more starbuck cups or beer bottles there
the real reason it was so dark
STARKbucks
The Wolf and the Stag! ;)
Podrick Spice Latte.
They weren’t too busy with the writing to notice the cup was there, they probably just didn’t care anymore. That’s the season 8 feeling.
HBO Police: "Open up, Davos! We have you surrounded! Return the props and no one gets hurt."
Like he doesn't know how to sneak in and out of his own house. :)
Davos irl is a charming, awesome dude
Love them both! My favorite GoT character and Show host
Same tbh!
Ser liam has the best interviews of all game of thrones cast he's so funny!
only Conan is worthy of such a possession
Using the word "liberated" instead of "stole" is probably the best method acting for a pirate that one can do
Just so everyone knows, it wasnt a Starbucks cup. It was a cup from a local coffee house near where they were filming, in Ireland I think.
Now your doing it with no desk, your show is great. You can not deny
Those momentos are going to be worth a fortune in years to come. Smart guy.
Sir Davos is my third favorite character behind the Hound and Arya. And, what do they all have in common? They don't bullshit. I hope at least one of them is alive at the end.
Brienne doesn't bullshit either. And I hope the same!
My favorite character in the series is Davos. Liam is the best. 😍
He is living up to his character. Hats off, ser.
Liam is so awesome 😂
I mean, of course he took the best stuff, he was the best smuggler after all 😂
Kudos to Starbuck for brilliant product placement 😂
Hell, that cup was probably more pivotal than the entire season!
Are you kidding? This season was incredibly pivotal! It pivoted the series straight down into the pits of mediocrity and lackluster!
Quit hatings it's fine you are just jumping on the hate bandwagon because it's popular to do
@@_MARSyt no it's not not hating. It's more just 'meh'
@@_MARSyt I think the majority of people including myself were fairly disappointed by season 8. But in a way your correct the hate train has gotten a bit out of hand.
Wasn’t even from Starbucks lol they said it was from a local coffee shop
Odds are it wasn't even a local shop. They were on a set with catering. Bet they have those gallon coffee and tea dispensers.
Wow I actually love this guy's personality he's extremely quick and funny
I choked at the mention of 'most meticulous' and 'game of thrones' in the same sentence for this season.
"Technically I didn't steal them, I just moved them from one place to another"
This guy is an absolute charmer! I love him!
Biggest advertisement in the world right there, ladies and gentlemen
Best damn casting ever, only thing i have zero complaints about in the show! WE DON'T DESERVE DAVOS!!!
This just shows how ACCURATE the casting was!
Conan melts when he talks about the wooden stag
FLATBED TRUCK. LMAO!
It wasn’t a Starbucks cup left in the scene, it was a cup from a local Northern Irish place.
Sir Davos #IronThrone2020
Anyone else lose an amazing father, and wish they could adopt Mr.Cunningham temporary?
I didn't lose anyone, I just want a Liam Cunningham.
My favourite character. Love him.
I love that it was Em's cup lol
I always forget and it gets cold, "Drogon, dracarys my coffee!"
It's just like Ser Davos would have been irl, haha. Funny and a smugler
The man quite obviously SMUGGLED the props off the set.
Sansa wants to know your location
Starkbucks belong in winterfell
I would love to take the wine goblets Tyrion is always drinking from
I adore this wonderful Actor
My favorite character tbh
Nobody left a cup in scene. Starbucks se how dark the 3rd episode was, realized they were strapped for cash for better CGI (the darker the scene, the cheaper it is), offered to pay to have them digitally insert the cup, but, everyone is talking about Starbucks. Genius marketing move.
D&D have confirmed it's not Starbucks, just a cup from a local coffee shop in Ireland
Never had a coffee at starbucks and never will
:D that cup of coffee will definitely get the award lol
The Wind that shakes the Barley ... if you haven’t seen it ... watch it!!! 💚
I find it absurd to think that the editor putting the scenes together did not notice that coffee cup.
primo Don it’s very easy to do. I did a small movie scene for a guy filming a movie in Washington DC. I was playing for a wedding scene and singing and had brought my green coffee mug filled with honey lemon water and it’s sitting on this beautiful grand piano. We film the whole thing and I look up after he says cut... ( there were people on the scene dedicated to making sure the scenes were in order) I tell the director, “uhhhh my green coffee cup is in the shot”. He didn’t feel like filming it again and left it as is.
Needless to say the movie was crap so I’m not surprised he was too lazy to reshoot the scene.
I guess it happens when you are tired. I mean, not the same obviously but Dr. leave knives inside people lol
It was intentional, that cup probably paid for the episode
They'd been going through 11 weeks of continuous night shoots.
I'd imagine that the cast and crew were still a bit frazzled.
@Austin Frisch Or, to look at it another way, the editor had to edit through the equivalent of three movies in a short time. People are fallible, so stop getting salty because the creator of that thing you watch made a mistake.
I’m glad someone pointed this amusing mistake out, because putting anything next to my serious cinema crush Dany effectively renders it invisible. I do notice the dragons, though.
"I think the show survived the big coffee controversy."
Like a person survives each one of a thousand paper cuts, yes.
Liam is so funny hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
had no idea he was Irish! he absolutely nails the Geordie accent
Liam goes home, sees her daughter: How many times I said, don't feed the dragon chocolate?
I like the way the onion KNIGHT says f#*k😂😂
Met him im dubai great dude and humble
When did he travel to Dubai?! Jealous!
She was good she was kind and you killed her!
Liam is hilarious on the blu-ray audio commentaries for GoT.
he plays a smuggler, he moved the stuff
Liam Cunningham is incredible.
Awww he kept the wooden stag. :(
Starbuck coffee is best drink ever
Hold my wine
I would have stolen a lot of those fermented crab.
I thought he was gonna say "and I took home shireens ashes too"
We see you Sir Davos!!🙌🏽😏
Possibly the best-cast actor on that show.
He’s the best 😂
Every second comment:
“ThAtS nOt ThE rEaL CuP”
Conan is the funniest video!!♥
Liam is awesome
He took that coffee cup and smuggled it back in time so Dany could enjoy a hot beverage then he smuggled it all the way back to the future to bring it on the show lol. Maybe he should of wrote the scripts too and smuggled them into the studio and replaced the story for the last season.
It can't be the actual cup, you're telling me that they saved the cup until after the show aired knowing that it was going to be on the episode
@Luke Barnes LIES!! ITS ALL LIES! WAKE UP
Hes got such a cool voice!
I love Liam!!
They are making it look like the criticism is all about a cup.
Lol its funny cause they did it with the battle episode too with it being supposedly too dark, which is like the 20th thing wrong with that mess
- He's Jon Snow
- ...
- ... (dothraki warrior coughing)
- ...
- ...He's King in The North
ay!!
They should do an interview with emilia about that coffee cup cos everyone was blaming her, that would be funny to hear what she wants to say about it
I don’t think that’s the actual cup, it looked more brown, like cardboard in the scene with a smaller logo
He's gonna sell everything the second it finishes, 10pm EST like an online black marketplace.
best advertisement for Starbucks ever
