Great video my guy. This was a well in depth review of this case. I have the Fractal Meshify 2 case and the customization of the P 500 A reminds me of the Meshify 2 case, especially when it comes to adding more hdd support and not to mention the 140mm fan support at the top and rear of the case. Keep up the great content man.
Gpu sag actually happens at the back, as it rises it makes the front tilt down. Their bracket keeps that back corner from moving and that prevents the front from sagging. If gpu manufacturers gave the cooler proper bracing against the back io plate sag would be lessen if not totally eliminated.
For 16:15, side mount reuse. The P200A came after, and is smaller (so different tooling unique to itself). The P500A is reusing old tooling/old insides from P600S, which itself was reusing from Evolv X. It's not physically possible to reuse P200A tooling to produce the same effect on a P500A size, they would need to manufacture new scaled-up tooling to take this into account (which would probably cost a bit under 1/2 million best-case scenario, or a couple of million worst-case scenario). Phanteks is known for their incredible high-quality material build, and they like to iterate into perfection like Noctua, which impacts it. Lian Li for instance is a completely new breed of company, with the speed they're iterating and releasing stuff. Phanteks is almost certainly looking into it, but realistically, for new cases, or new revisions of cases (especially a HALO case, that could amortize the costs more efficiently, as the base P500A is pretty price competitive, and releasing a revision with new tooling is the last thing that makes sense with all the world events increasing prices nowadays). Maybe they're waiting on their LCP T30-140 fans so they can do an expensive HALO case to compete with Fractal Design Torrent, and in the vein of the HAF 700 EVO, and then we might see updates across the board that trickle down to cheaper cases later.
Ok STS, please please tell me your ARGB setup to get the color at 0:37 and 12:15 ?? I have Arctic Fans too and with Aura I could not get good colors... not as great looking as yours thats for sure. Thx!
I believe that was the controller that comes inside the p500A. I’m not that used to Aura, but you might need to look into alternative software. There are many free alternatives that allow to do way more than what motherboard softwares offer

When you were talking about the hard drive support, I was expecting a shot of the front area of the covers where the hard drives are supposed to go. Maybe you could consider showing what you are talking about next time (as I can't even see it in the build because it's angled). Nice and detailed video nonetheless!
Are u happy about this case?.. I have a dark base 900 pro.. But the airflow sucks... I think about right now.. 500a.. 600s.. Or. Be quiet silent base 802
Because it has been in use for a couple of months as the Fan benchmark case and will propably stay there until it falls apart (the video was produced DEC. last year)

this was my second choice when picking a case but went with the corsair 5000D airflow

I think this might be the only case that can fit 1 GPU horizontaly and 1 GPU varticaly, leaving some PCIe slots available for other cards as well.
Do you think i can mount 3080 ftw3 ultra vertically in this case??
