That GPU sag bracket thing is amazing!
Yup, one of the cooler accessories to have come from Phanteks. I hope more companies follow.
-D.
@@HardwareCanucks Is it compatible with similar cases from other brands? Like the upcoming Lancool II Mesh (by the way, looking forward to that review! When dhould we expect it?)
@@lucasavastanondxy maybe that case will come with one? My O11-Dynamic XL came with one
Reminds me of the trick jayz2cents shared by jamming a screw at the back, where the tabs slot in
Would it help with my GT ten thutty?
This is perfect! Just what we're looking for in a case, good looking case without compromising airflow and performance.
I really like being addressed as "Good People" gives all reviews by Dmitry a good vibe. ^_^
It's super classy, inclusive, and speaks to his style. Didn't realize how much I appreciated it until you called it out - thanks!
Shame about the original launch delay for this. I was going to wait but ended up getting a P600S because I wasn't prepared to run my 3900X in a cardboard box for a third of a year. No regrets.
I really like the options the P600S gives you. Want quiet? Close the mesh. Willing to suffer a bit more noise on a hot day? Open the mesh.
i got my p600s second hand whilst not having a single clue about its perks and just because i wanted to be able to fit two 360 aio into my build.... a year later... i seriously admit that im a lucky bastard to get this sexy beast and make my super complicated pc building life a tad bit easier...
but still... if they every d-argb it.. i wont give a second thought... imma straight up buy that case... i sorta had the same idea so i slapped a strip of phanteks neon on my shroud...
@@claywhitewood I did the same. Phanteks neon strip around the mobo and back end of the case. Then I put x3 Corsair LL140 PWMs in the front. All set to Cyan/White. I went for the white P600S. Stunning case with masses of flexibility.
It got delayed?
I really missed case reviews especially from this channel. No one else’s reviews come close to the quality of yours. Keep up the fantastic work!!!
I built my PC back in December and I bought the p600s and absolutely love it. I wanted a case with a swinging glass door but what rly sold me on the p600s was the silent performance. Putting on the front and top cover makes such a huge difference in noise.
Great video! I would change the fans to Noctua NF-A14 PWM black chromax fans. Don't need the RGB. They'd be way quieter than the 500A stock fans.
I love when you guys leave links for items that go to different item's.
Just bought it, will be nice upgrading my air 540 after 6 years. Gonna move over my noctua 140 fans and nhd15s. Air cooling forever!
Man I'm in the same boat my air 540 has been awesome but I can't decide between the p500 or the p600 lol
This Will be the case I recommend from now on. I have the P600s and i love it
I have the p400 and its great!
I also have the P600S. Pity the P500A excludes the fan hub. The only thing I don't like about the P600S and by implication also the P500A is the cutout in the PSU shroud. The text on my Corsair HX750 PSU can only be seen partially and aesthetically it looks ugly to me.
@@thisemptyworm4677 My brother has that case, solid case! Thinking about giving him a vented front panel for his birthday
@@frikkievuiltrens Yeah the fan hub on p600s is great. What about removing the sticker on the psu?
PetesPC thatd be great. I only have the base model, but works in the end
This channel is the reason I went with the Phantex Enthoo Pro for my first build in 2017. It is perfect.
P600s owner here: removes front panel....boom I got a P500A
Still i like more p600s
Still no RGB.

Why is there no p600s reviews on gamer nexus?
I have p400s since march 2017, but looking at the new ones so many unnecessary stuff added. Phanteks is good but come on, just remove some clutter.
I love the p600s. Such a beautiful enclosure and looks amazing.
P500a looks better
Hurray for more mesh case options! 🔥
Lian-Li Lancool II Mesh soon!
@@szpynda do you know when ir any information ?
I have the P400A and I considering what you just showed I cannot be happier. I got the non-RGB version and added 3 120mm Noctua NFS12-A's its suuuuuper quiet and stays icy
Just found your channel looking for reviews before finally going with the P500 for my first build and I was blown away by the production quality, this is probably the first time I ever subbed a channel after just watching one video, great work! 👌
I just bought a p600s this week and this came out...... Good thing I like the p600s look more lol
According to Gamer nexus noise normalized tests it has better cooling potential even at 36dba than the rest of the competition, so you still get awsome performence with a relative quiet system.
I got this case about a month ago and love it. Its an easy case to build and cable management is a snap. One caveat, I have an Arctic Liquid Cool II 360 AIO. The specs say you can mount a 360 on top. Well, I think the Liquid Cool II 360 is a little larger than most because it wouldn't fit on top unless I took a hacksaw and tin snips to the MB backplate mounting flange and trimmed or cut it off. I moved the fans from the bottom of the radiator to the top and it fit ok that way. The combination of the P500A case and AIO lowered both CPU and GPU temps by 9-10 degrees C when running MS Flight Sim 2020.
Hey i have a question .. can the 280 arctic freezer fit on top ?
Did 360 fit on top?
Great case. I'd try putting the fans between the metal mesh and the main frame and I bet they'd quiet down. 140mm fans in 120/140mm fan channels get a lot of intake turbulence from the blockage of the fan slots that are close to the blades. I think that this is a good "budget" P600. Both cases are pretty big, but I think they make up for it with flexibility. I also like that Phanteks has stuck with the removable top that is screwed in on their cases. It is great for assembly and modding. Great review, guys! You put in all the pertinent points in fairly short, well-shot and concise videos.
That could work, but clearances might be an issue, especially with larger fans or more than 2.
His filmography is really supporting the review to the point where it's easy to understand by mostly looking
Just bought a p400a a few days ago. Oh well, still a great case. Lmao.
Got mine a month ago. Did lots of research and p400a drgb clearly stood out as best case for looks and airflow together. Replaced my nzxt h500i with it. P400A is amazing
Same! Ah well
Got mine back in march. No point of upgrading to the P500A. I like that there's more room for a radiator in the top and the front looks a little more interesting but apart from that the P400A is still an awesome case.
Even the temperatures are very similar. I've got a 2080S and a Ryzen 7 3700X and under full load my CPU never gets above 72°C and the GPU stays at 70°C all the time.
yea the p400ad is fucking amazing.
I just ordered mine the other day, hasn't even arrived yet lol. I'm sure you and I will still be happy with our cases.
Right when I got a p400a digital.. damn, no regrets though. The P400A is AMAZING. looks great and amazing airflow, honestly think there's no case that can compete with it at all in its price range, (and I had a relatively new case before it: the h500i) p400a blew the h500i out of the water, such a nice case
I just wanted to take a second to thank you for such awesome content, you guys. I always love the aesthetic of your filming style, and it's always so professionally done. I also enjoyed the raspberry moment, haha. It's nice to see you cut loose a little. 😂
Dude I literally ordered that case 2 days ago, waiting for it.
Nice, enjoy it :)

Many thanks for a very informative review. I bought this case as a result and am rebuilding as soon as it arrives. Needed a little room to expand from my compact. Don't mind the fan noise as I use the PC to run X-Plane 12, so the sound of motors and rushing air just adds to the experience. Appreciate the post. I like your very clean production, which is a nice alternative to the usual cluttered workshops. Subscribed.
All this tells me my recent new build Phanteks P600S was for its price the best choice of all. Most of the time I keep the front cover plate on with the result the fan noise is scarcely noticeable. Fantastic case. Has swing doors both sides too with of course smoked tempered one on the business side. Thanks for your previous two videos on Phanteks Starter RGB controller kit and fan halos/led strips. In process of awaiting delivery of these. Also note someone's RUclips vid on recent reliability of Phanteks halos and led strips. Hope I don't get this problem although he said Phanteks as usual indicated they would quickly replace such defective items.
That RGB is probably the best RGB i have ever seen ngl
D-RGB.. The 'D' stand for Dmitry
i feel like someone is gonna get wooooshed
Actually no it means "digital"
I'm running the P350X and installed 2 Be Quiet 140 mm fans in front to keep things cool & quiet.
I have a HAF X. It's outdated in many things but 65-67 degrees for a 980ti amp extreme (300W) and i7 2600k 4.4ghz.
A side panel fan makes a lot of difference for gpu, cpu and vrm because it directly pushes air onto it from the shortest distance.
I think the way they position motherboards isn't efficient either. You can remove exhaust air from a distant point in the case but you can't push fresh air in from a distant point because it will slow down. Also the gpu is the hottest piece in the system and it exhaust affect nearby components, so it shouldn't be under the cpu. To me the best way would be to have facedown motherboard with I/O shields in the front and basically invert all the fans. Also the PSU should be nearest to the EPS V12 socket so that the worst of the cables is also the shortest. Or maybe manufacture that socket at 90 degree angle.
Still loving my p600s in 2020.
Still rockin' the Enthoo Pro M case I got a few years back. Despite the front I/O being in an awkward place, there's not much to complain about with this thing.
I just did a build in a P600S a couple of weeks ago. Overall it was an amazing build experience (particularly cable management), but I had one major problem and it wasn't the case's fault.
My motherboard is the X570 Auros Xtreme, an E-ATX motherboard that's 272mm wide AND has 90 degree connectors on the right side for pretty much everything except the front panel USB-C header. A 272mm motherboard with connectors sticking out the front like normal would have been fine; a 244mm ATX board with 90 degree connectors would have been fine. Both together, I was barely able to get the 24-pin and USB 3.0 header connected, and to do it I had to route them up through the cutout in the PSU shroud behind the front fans, and remove the plastic covers. I meant to put the plastic covers back on, but I can't find where I laid the little thumb screws down. 😐
Love the case, and can't recommend it highly enough, but watch out if you have the same motherboard I do.
Actually he's incorrect. The top does come off. They're just held by several screws and I realized with all those thumb screws they gave us I was able to use those to secure it back on Three in the front three in the back. Taking that top off really does make it easier to work in.
I'm loving Phanteks lately. Built 4 Computers using g their cases, P300A, P400a and P360a
5:29 looks like Phanteks took JayzTwoCents' idea!
I prefer the screw. but you're probably right. These companies r&d guys definitely watch these tech channels.
Haven’t yet had this since the Evolv X? About 2 years ago or so, still inspired by jaystwocents though, I think they acknowledged it back then.
my dream case, I will buy it
At 4:48 you are my hero. I've been wanting to know about the hdd shelf positions so it doesn't clash with a 360 cooler 👍👍👍👍
It's the little things that really just spark the video, like spinning it around to read the measure, and tapping the mesh to show the relative noise of fans
I got the P300 after seeing your review, and become a fan of Phanteks ever since. This looks beautiful as well
I love my 300a. I put 2 120mm Metallicgear DRGB fans in the front and moved the single 120mm to the rear. It's quiet as a mouse, even under load, and it sits about a foot from me on my desk. My only complaint is that it gets dusty inside very quickly. Although that's likely due to my PC being in a high traffic area of my house, as well has having several cats and a dog in my house.
It's not yet widely available, but the case looks great. Great review, as always. I ended up buying a P600S and a Phanteks AMP power supply. Nice combination. I got tired of looking at my HAF 922. Still use that old tank on another machine. I still think the Enthoo Pro Tempered Glass is great for people who need optical drives and have more than a few hard drives, but its downside is the lack of a USBC front panel connector, which necessitates buying a bay mounted port if one wants USB-C on the front panel. At this point, Phanteks has a really great lineup. Availability, hopefully, will improve soon.
I've been using the H500M. The dual 200mm fans make no noise at all. I have them set to always run at 100% and they still only about 15db. The AIO on my CPU makes more noise.
Pls pls review lianli’s new cases when they come out! The lancool 215 especially
Honestly all the cases they're releasing look damn impressive. Considering the 011D mini right now.
EXACTLY the information I was looking for, deciding this vs the 600s. Have my subscription, good sir!
I picked up the P400A. Love its looks and performance. I do have to quibble over the mesh front being an effective dust filter. I feel like my system has to be dusted out a little more often than previous cases.
Get the standard non-rgb P500A and spend the money on good PWM fans such as arctic P14 or NB-eloop B14-PS and run them at no more than 70-80%.
I bought the $129.99 Phanteks Eclipse P500A D-RGB (white) and had to slide those silly plastic covers as far as they'd go to fit my E-ATX MSI Godlike, and that's when I found the front fan wires were about to be severed. They were easily rerouted but I had to customize one of those silly plastic covers to properly fit that double-thick cable coming from the case since peeking it out put a terrible strain on the motherboard. I'm hoping the smaller mesh holes filter more dust than my Lian Li Lancool Il mesh RGB (white) but after a week, I'm already spotting dust on the GPU. I sure wish this had the nylon filter of the Fractal Meshify 2.
I got this case as an upgrade to my functionally obsolete Anidees AI crystal I have used for over 5 years. What was great is all my fans I already had were just a drop in upgrade to this case so I got the cheaper model without the argb.
however if you plan to use the vertical graphics card mounting system, and you have a 2.5 slot graphics card like an Asus strix model, your temperatures will be about 5° higher. It doesn't really affect me too much because my case is configured to be very high positive pressure with six of the seven fans intake.
it is a great looking case, and much easier to keep clean than my old AI crystal.
I have to say the mobo to top of case space allowing for easy aio to be put up there is really nice
Wow! Thank you so much for this amazing review. I have not built a PC in a very long time, and this seems like it would be a great chassis for a handful of super quiet high CFM fans.
Good looking case with adequate number of features and support, but I would personally swap those fans with 2 brown 120mm Noctua fans in the intake only. It's good enough. I'm not into colour matching though, so brown fans are perfect.
"Please open from the other side"
LMAO
Very suave lighting transition at 2:40!!
Nice case it's just a shame the supplied fans aren't PWM.
Hah, the please open from other side bit at 0:03 was jokes
If I didnt had the P400S I would buy this one, looks great, I like RGB when its minimalistic/stlyish, this case has just the right amount :)
Gamers Nexus showed that you can easily swap out the front panel from P400S to mesh P400A. Idk how you'd get your hands on one but I'd look into it if I were you.
Since I've been in the market as I'm building a new rig, the new mesh style cases have caught my. I'll leave my idea here first, hopefully you will see this, and pass it along to manufacturers. I worry about the mesh becoming dented, and unsightly after a time. Why not use window screen like on most windows in homes? They would just need to put a groove around the front face for the spline that holds the screen in. Yes, it would be even more prone to damage, but easily put back or replaced by going to the nearest hardware store., unlike the bending and denting of metal mesh which can't be replaced easily if at all. New member, first time watching, and like the vlog, cheers
Dimitry's videography is top notch. For a case review this much of hard work should be highly appreciated.
ha that's true :) Appreciate it!

Been waiting for this one...going to get the $99 variant, and stuff it full of chromax noctua 140mm and a nh-d15 XD
The 140mm chromax fans are Loud AF in the front at any more than 50% rpm - bewarned :P
If it were me, I'd go with beQuiet 140mm PWM fans with Phanteks digital halos.
@@katzicael By any chance did you get the industrial version (ppc one)? I think the A14 should be quiet too not heard complaints.
@@katzicael depends on which model the 1500's pretty smooth
did you end up getting the nh-d15? How was the fit? Keen on getting this case but worried about clearances and was tossing it up between that or the dark rock 4 like he has in the video
Love the inflexible front mesh. First mesh problems are bending, denting, and any exposed sharp toothy edges.
fans to 1000rpm it's a silent beast without compromising heating, case is big enough inside to do so.
Amazing review! I plan on changing my case lian li 215 to this one. Because i want to put my arctic cooler 280m on the top of the case. While I add in Corsair 140x3 in front of the case.
Wished manufacturers built more mATX cases. With NVMe and SSD drives being smaller than traditional drives, SLI being pretty much phased out so less need for more than 2 PCIe ports, and 7nm being the new standard, I would hope PC's would have a smaller footprint.
I’m so jealous he’s so knowledgeable with this P.C stuff and to me it sounds like a foreign language 😂😂 I wanna build a pc and would love to start with this case tho, nice review 💯
I felt the same way at first. But just take your time its fairly simple once you go through it one good round. After that you'll catch yourself in the pc rabbit hole untill ur pc feels right lol
Another good way is to take a computer and take it apart and put it back together i learned way faster that way

I play on a 15.6 inch laptop with fans on full speed on top of a Massive 20 cooling pad, I think I can handle the noise
I like the white version, I have the p600s, and I put a screen where the power supply cut out is at.
Phanteks entire A line is good IMO. 300, 400, 500 etc are all great budget options with above average airflow.
This makes the decision to get the 500dx a little harder now. But I love choices!
Agree!
I like that the 500DX has a front dust filter, I think more cases should have that
What if you put noctua black fans in there? 3in and 3out on low rpm?
Loving my p400a 😁
I wish more cases had a psu window so people can show off the thor psu
Is there sync between the rgb and other softwares, examples: mystic light, razer's etc? Best regards
Yes Asus Aura, msi mystic, Gigabyte fusion and Asrock polychrome
Just checked also razer Chroma
I'm late to the game, by about a year and a half, as I'm only now upgrading my 5yr PC due to Win11 not supporting my CPU anymore. Anyway, this ticks all the boxes. Some of the other cases I was having a look at wont fit the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU Cooler I'm scoping out for this build also. Additionally some don't have 140mm rear fan option. Also, this is weird, but I think the fan noise just made me want to buy this even more. Smoooooooth air flow sounds LOL. I have picked this over Lian Li Lancool 215 and the Phanteks P400A. Now I'm debating whether I pay for the DRGB or save AUD $60 on the full black no bling version.
9:47 ... the same thing goes for my Corsair Obsidian 750D airflow edition with 3 140 mm Corsair AF in the front, 3 140 mm on top and 2 140 mm in the back ... on IDLE, that´s like being underwater, during long sessions of gaming, it´s a space shuttle. By today´s standards, i understood that there is NO perfect case. Everything has an issue, a problem, a gimmick ... good review though :)
Cool case! Personally I use my Thermaltake V31 with the dust filter removed from the front grille leaving the honeycomb hex exterior grille attached as factory It's a really "cool" case, not too dusty. The P500-A case is very well built so maybe I'll try it out! I especially like the glass panel and PSU shroud.
Which is the better choice between this and P600S?
This is gonna sell out right about now. Not a bad case! Thanks for sharing this one.
Awesome review, I got the P400A last year and while the case claims to support top rad, my motherboard has the ram slots too high and impact a rad. Looks like the P500A is tall enough to avoid the problem. I have to rely on only a front rad and top/rear exhaust fans for now.
im making a case its called the 500H500P500 it will be out to reviewers shortly. It comes with 6 tempered class panels sealed in a cube
Can't wait for the Lancool II Mesh review, now I can't decided which to get, still leaning towards the 500DX due to its compact size and quietness.
I still can't believe that I own the P600S, it's fucking gorgeous.
Guess I'll stay with the P600s, maybe
A good fix for this case would be 4 Be Quiet! Silentwings 3 fans (1000 rpm version).
been waiting for what feels like years for this case thank god my new x570 is going in this case
Looking at this case for the price is crazy. In 2015 it was the enthoo pro that was the $100 case to beat. Phanteks remains strong.
This is surely one nice case to keep your PC cool.
Reduce fan speed to 65%.
Surprising thermals, only an increase of 2 degrees, but
Noise drops to 38.3 dBA.
That is pretty insane! The fans are not supposed to run 100% 24/7.
Personaly i will buy the be quiet! 500dx case. Because it has very good airflow and its still very quiet
watching be quiet spinning is priceless
Can you guys consider testing the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO and compare it to newer cases, like the P400A, P500A, Meshify C, etc? I really like the layout of it and would love to see you revisit it in 2020. Thanks!
Man I can’t decide between the p500a or p600s
Firstly Guys at hardware cannucks stay safe and thanks for making this video Dimitri. So great case , this might be my new choise, P500A vs Enthoo Pro TG the P500A wins hands down but the Pro TG has a special place in my heart , Hoping to see it's successor.

With those front fans, you add wings on the case and it will take off!
