I’m so glad yall reacted to a Godfrey video. I’ve been saying he’s an underrated comedian for years 😂. His Steve Harvey impression is a masterclass lol.
He may have mentioned it and I just missed it but I was blown away when I found out Hugh Laurie was British. I watched "House" for a long time before I found out.
I’m glad he shouted out Aries Spears. Y’all should check out him actually rapping as rappers or his Denzel segment too. It’s actually from the same set. 🍻
Lol awesome pick, one of my favorite comedians. I have a vid of Aries, Godfrey, and Dean Edwards all doing impressions together. There's no copyright on it if you ever decide to check it out.
Daz, in beginning he says he was on Opie and Jim, that is the aftermath show from the Opie and Anthony show, and also the Opie and jim show no longer exists.. Godfrey has been on podcast from Adam Corolla, and those are great!! just for listening to..
British actors do a very good job with stock/basic stereotypical American accents--and the most known accents--general NYC or "southern", but would really struggle with local or regional accents--they would really struggle with like a Pittsburgh accent (it's a different nomenclature, too, actually), for example. Similarly, American actors will do fine with often heard British accents--cockney (how long have we heard Michael Caine in this country) or liverpudlian (The Beatles taught us that), but would struggle without a tutor to do regionals, Manchester, Birmingham, etc., for the same reasons as the Brits with regional US accents.

Saw him live in Houston Texas. Show started at 11pm… he went til 1am. Best show ever!
Godfrey is a gem sooo underrated he's hilarious
Idris Alba had Black America floored. No one knew for a long time and it shocked everyone.
Guys, you need to watch Godfrey's Steve Harvey impression
PLEEEASE it’s his best one

You want to see him young, look up "Black Adder" with Rowan Atkinson 🤙🤙 he's really very funny
Best impressionist out! #HandsDown
He just dont get the recognition!

No one fucks with Cumia anymore, he's a lunatic moron lol.
The blokes are back. The band continues.
I remember watching him Live in NYC.
Funny guy
When I found out Idris was British, I felt so betrayed. I’m from Washington DC, thought I’d go to Baltimore and look him up. Lol
The Denzel impression is pretty amazing.
lmao this is the best video you guys have done in a while.

I feel like you guys need an American for a third at office blokes 😂 I’m available
The show would go left so quick!!!🤣
My first time hearing and seeing this man. He would nail many roles. Extremely talented but never have cussing in interviews.
You should react to some of his stand up comedy clips, there hilarious
Great stuff 😂😂😂😂😂
oh yeah oh yeah
I thought he was going to do Gilbert Godfrey 🤣
👍👍

Check out snl louis ck birthday clown or Australian screen legends a good chuckle.

Second comment from a fellow bloke. Never been this early before. Im going to say it.. Cheers mate.
Shane Gillis does the best Trump I think I’ve ever seen
Godfrey has been an outspoken racist i dont like him. When you act this way it diminishes your work
He's only "racist" if you're incredibly dumb. So... do the math bud.
This is true. His persona/character has probably held him back.
No! He’s outspoken about racist bullsht and don’t hold back.
You’re absolutely wrong about him. He speaks out about racism. He’s not a racist at all. Do your homework.
@@Heavenzvoice I did not make that claim, I think you are mistaken me for the first commentor,
