The first time I saw him live I was 16. I've gone back every time I hear he's close. He's AMAZING. But until you said it, I didn't realize he was the last well known bluesman from this school of blues. He's such a treasure but Oof. 💔
@@mnelson0913 I saw him in Memphis as well. I found out that he is Ric “Jazz” Hall and he’s been with Buddy Guy for many years, and also has his own band.
Amen to that. I saw him yesterday at the Melbourne Blues Festival and at 86 his voice was great but the same old schtick was on show. Fiddle, talk, crowd singalong, more fiddle and so on. I left after 40 mins.
I was in the Balcony 😂 🥤 it was awesome to see one of the greatest and last of the old generation blues guitarists once again

Hands down... bro Buddy is the Guy 😎💯💥💪🎶🇺🇸💖
Seen him last night! Hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen. Up bright and early still on Buddy time 😁
Going to see him in Memphis next Tuesday…..3/14/23…cannot wait 👍👍👍👍
The best!

Best Birthday night ever!!
Mine too!!! Last night is night to remember! Buddy showed out!
I saw BB King the year before he died. It was great.
Who’s the guitarist playing around the 7 minute mark?
I have no idea what the guys name is (can’t find it anywhere) but I just saw Buddy in Memphis & that guitarist can sure play!
I believe his name is Ric Hall (if it’s who I think it is).

Ric Hall he's been in Buddy's Band for many many years
Do you have video of Stevie Salas playing with him?
Buddy is a legend but I hate the way he does the same crap on stage every night and rarely completes a song
