      Thanks for watching Steven, I'm glad you enjoyed it because this video was a lot of fun to make because I got to try and refine some of the things I do in my videos! I agree, Zooz's fame is the unsung hero in this set up. It has great geometry, it feels sturdy, and it looks good! BTW, I'm dying to try one of those sleeper EMTB bikes one day. With the way things are looking with the landlords in NYC, I might have to switch to one of those sleeper mid drive EMTBs where the battery is fully integrated into the downtube and the mid drive is integrated/ hidden under the crank. If they dont know it's electric they cant ban it! lol

      @eyebahnrides The zooz is actually on my list since its not that heavy. Also, looking at the Lyric Graffiti but, you already know that it's hard to buy anything with the building looking at banning PEV's everywhere. Still got my scooter though 😅

    Wow.... this took me back down memory lane, bro. That polished frame looks so sexy when the sun hits it, and I can only imagine what it looks like at night. I have to say that seat and seat height look way more comfortable than when I used to ride. I hope you can get your hands on the other one too.

      Thanks for watching Weldon! I know right? That chrome frame is stunning and the seat height is 30.5 in seat height is great comfortable height for me (I'm 5'8). It might be tough for taller people but I've seen riders over 6ft tall ride it lol. I hope that I can get to try the UF1200 ( suspension bike) and the UU750 ( the high torque ) bike. It should be alot of fun. I also wouldn't mind adding it to the growing collection but the wallet is closed at the moment and my wife would kill me if I do lol.

    You’re such a great reviewer although not owning the bike. I think u should get one. I have the 1100 and i love riding this bike. I will probably be riding this a lot. I can cut thru sidewalks, pedestrian lanes and even on road works without worrying about anybody yelling at me. Its nimble and easy to carry and lift. 👍👍❤️❤️

      Thank you! That means alot coming from you. I try to review the bike with out any bias while focusing on things that matter to me while delivering it in more of a conversational format. I also try cover things that the specs wont tell you (things enjoyment, potential pitfalls, and how it rides in the real world)
      btw congrats on the new bike! I saw it on IG but I havent been on there much since I'm taking another break from IG because its so time consuming. I'd love to have one but I need to find a garage or a home soon lol. I can't fit anymore in our apartment nor will my building accept another PEV! I really want a 750 or an 1100 lol.

    I was thinking of getting an s2 for traveling to work but might get this instead. They are putting congested pricing in place in nyc and I was thinking about using this for travel from queens to manhattan. any thoughts?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  5 месяцев назад

      thanks for watching the video and welcome o the channel Andrew! That congestion pricing is going to be a nightmare for pricing and a killer for anyone that needs to drive into the city. First, I think you have two great options there. Both are fun class 2/ class 3 ebikes that make navigating the city really fun while staying out of the "legal gray area" that some of the emotorcycles disguised as ebikes live in.
      As an owner of a S73, I can say that I love how comfortable it rides because of the fat tires. They soak up the bumps on the road really well and having that front suspension is going to make things even better. If you're into customizing your ride, S73 will have a ton more options for you. However, they are quite expensive. They are also really heavy and can attract alot of unwanted attention in your apartment/work building if there are people don't like ebikes.
      The Zooz UU1100 is alot more if a sleeper bike and most people wont even realize that its a 30+mph ebike. Even though it's not that much lighter than the S2, it feels much more nimble and rides more like a bicycle. The ride is still pretty harsh since its a hard tail with a solid front fork but it was alot more comfortable than I expected. The first thing I would personally do is get a custom seat for it with thicker padding to make it more comfy for the harsh NYC roads.
      The performance is about the same. Acceleration will be better on the UU1100 but you'll probably have better top end speed with the s73. Which honestly makes the UU1100 a better commuter because the acceleration will come in really handy light to light.
      I wish I could give you a more detailed response but I hope this helps!

    Hello there, do you know of any long range electric bicycle road test? Perhaps you could introduce a range of electric bike that's suitable to go through The Great Divide mountain bike route, or The Great Alleghany Passage?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching this one as well James! In my opinion, that type of long distance trail would be tough on current generation of ebikes since it's going to be tough finding charging every 50-150 miles. With all the elevation changes and terrain changes, it will be even more taxing on the battery and motor. Along with that, the long charge times would be tough to do any type of long distance "bike camping". From what I know, a guy nicknamed "electric cowboy" did a trip from NYC to LA on his 3 battery Super73 RX.
      Thanks for the idea, I'll keep that in mind and will always be on the look out for something that can handle that!

  • @tylerthayerpham
    @tylerthayerpham 9 месяцев назад +1

    Is the zooz 1100 quicker than a Super73 RX? I understand top speed is about the same but which one gets there quicker?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  9 месяцев назад

      I think the best way to answer this is with this video clip! Keep in mind that with my gear and bag I'm over 200+ lbs on my RX and JohnnyPrime on the Zooz UU1100 definitely weighs less than me. Both bikes are running stock motors and stock set ups. My bike is much heavier since I have an additional 20+lbs due to the second battery making it over 40+lbs heavier than the UU1100.

    Ivan great video but I was disappointed to hear from you that this e-bike isn't great for us suburbanites. I don't live in a city like Manhattan like you man what e-bike do you recommend I buy for a person in my postion?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Neem. I'm glad you liked the video because it was alot of fun to make. I wouldn't necessarily say that it's not great for suburbanites. As long as you have a way to ride safely around traffic at 30mph, whether it's a bike lane or a wide shoulder, the bike is more than capable of tackling the suburbs. However, you may want to pick a "legally grey ebike/ emoto" if the area that you live in requires you to be in traffic where the speeds are 40+ mph. Those types of bikes are like Surrons, Onyxs, Hucks, Lyrics, and or HPCs. At the end of the day, all the Zooz Bikes are meant to be legal class 2/3 ebikes instead of the legally grey ones.
      I hope this helps clarify my position in the video and answer your question!

  • @actionroom9226
    @actionroom9226 4 месяца назад +1

    trying to decide between this or surron

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  4 месяца назад

      thanks for watching the video! That's a really tough decision because they're two very different products. The zooz is a proper class 2-3 ebike and the Surron is a edirtbike disguised as an ebike. The one thing that may affect your decision is Zooz is announcing a new line of products tomorrow (march 19th) and segway is releasing a proper class 3 ebike later this year.
      If you're in NYC and you want to avoid the risk of getting your ride taken by NYPD and getting a huge fine, I would go with the Zooz. I personally would get the Zooz and if you want higher performance, just get a motorcycle.
      I hope this helps!

    Is this bike good for deliveries?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  5 месяцев назад

      thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! I think it would make a great bike for deliveries. It's quick, its light, the range is great, and its a sleeper so most people won't even really notice it's an ebike. Having that BMX frame will make it easier to lock onto things and you can always pedal it if the battery dies. The only thing I'm not sure about is the water resistance. I know friends that ride it in the rain but not sure if they had to take "waterproofing measures" before doing that.
