No he doesn't. The only Alpha move he has is 8LK, 5LP & ruffian kick. Literally every other move from Alpha is gone. All his other normal & specials are different including his knife moves. He is basically a different character. Just wish they'd taken A3/SF4 Cody, given him his chain combo, swapped out 8MK, V-skill spin kick, maybe added one or two other new moves(no removal), and made his new outfit into the easter egg nostalgia (prison uniform tied around waist + broken cuffs) or modified version of FF outfit (like add a jacket and maybe a hat). Alpha Cody already had all his FF moves too. X-Ism gave him the FF combo as a chain. F+MP was supposed to be mid punch. Criminal Upper was uppercut. F+HK was his jump kick. HK Super had the spin kick as an ender. Forward throw was shoulder toss. Only move he was missing was his knee drop. It's kind of sad how they got rid of everything. Hope SF6 goes back closer to Alpha version. I like his pipe though, it's pretty awesome.
They've had them since El Fuerte crouching roundhouse. SFV took them all up a notch. I hope you get some of the other characters over time and finish your work.
DoA girls have a long long way to go. Good old art, and a bit more "loudness" maybe? This new cover body approach won't go over all too well unless they flesh them out in the story somehow. Bring back art panels in endings.
After finally playing Cody, I can say you get my seal of approval with all the extra animations you made sure to record. That includes the slight changes when he uses up his weapons. I would add that the command grab with pipe you can just press punch to make it easier. Also, his CA breaks fireballs but isn't a fireball.
His final combination is why I use him and Ed. Kinda like playing Pocket Fighter again. I wish they made another Pocket Fighter. I love the chibi style art!
That neutral MK than looks more like a close MK. But I like how Cody has more techniques and some of them pack quite a huge wallop. His F.F. Combination and his Flyin' Spin Kick came back. NICE!! B.T.W. His clean cut appearance looks really nice. Glad he no longer has that prisoner garb and the handcuffs.

He's probably not used to it yet. Let's be honest, he spent much more time with the cuffs than the suit at that point.

They did it. Took them years but they finally got his move list right.
Side note: Double Kick is invincible, but causes a small amount of white damage.
As a reference to the "recoil damage" the move caused back in FF1.
