Love these videos! Even with the chaos it was still a calming video. Nice score getting your oar back. A pool noodle over the support beams might help the shins out.

Love your videos brother! I’d love to see an in depth video on how you rig your sail. I’m considering building a lug rig. Safe sailing to you 👍🏼

Always a good trip if a fellow gets to see a pair of honkers : )

You're supposed to fill the frame with your face and talk about all the things you're going to be doing and then describe things we can't see because we have to put up with a view of your face!
This is great, reminds me of my 12year old self restoring an old sailing dinghy my grandfather had built for my uncle - and then rowing it up the Thames.
I had a wonderful adventure, was gone all day and felt like Amundsen when I finally reached home only to find I was in serious trouble because the _adults_ thought I had been drowned in the weir. Happy days!

Yeah, I know. I'm not a very good RUclipsr haha. I usually can't stomach that video style, especially the fake exuberance that accompanies it. You viewers get it! I'm grateful and amazed that people watch my slow paced 20 min videos to the end.
12 years old and a boat with history! I love it. Wish I had discovered boating at that age. Thanks for the story.

@@cumberlandrover I had no idea what I was doing apart from rowing UP the Thames against the current so it would help me home when exhausted. The planking needed to swell to stop all the leaks - should have filled it the night before, so I was ankle deep for the first hour. And the river was _miles_ away which meant hauling this heavy timber boat on an improvised trolley holding up traffic and crossing a railway! _NUTS!_

Beautiful video as usual Capt. Noticed you switched up to oarlocks from the pin/rope. Sir, that clearing at 11:40 looked like a great camping spot!
