Thanks for showing the tobacco smoke in a respectful way and not hiding it, and that it's ok to even be near and touch a person that loves it and that loves people, too. Maybe, that's an odd thing to say, but I really appreciate it. As someone that has studied the history and use of tobacco, I've found it's commonly the first thing hated and attacked before a totalitarian purity movement kicks into gear. The song is beautiful along with its imagery of facing each other, taking each other's hands, singing together, man and woman. We have to form relationships, not fears, to walk through this world and get to a half decent end with any meaning and to make meaning along the way.

Lawrance is a hero truly. Let us explore what beasts, beastliness, has turned on him and others of non-compliance.
Let me explain, please be patient with my explanation.
What is presently happening in Britain, America and the West, let us see..
      A Modern Revolution
Brothers and sisters of goodwill let us give the background to this claim.
We all have heard of the 20th century (Socialist) revolutions in Russia, China, Vietnam and Cuba and so on plus thereon the Fascists and Nazis. We will show they all aimed to overthrowing the respective society. Also, that all were Marxian rooted; though from different angles nonetheless all aimed to overthrow the economic system thus overthrow the political and legal superstructure, thence culture and social system; because for them was underwriting the ‘capitalist bourgeois political system’. In short, first an economic then political, social then cultural revolution. Though there were arguably three variants thus with different revolutionary methods, nonetheless all being totalitarian; the revolutionary’s, the ruling party; the ruling clique enjoying total control of society, logically no space for the individual or in aggregating in groups let alone dissent against those in power. Aiming control of not just state institutions and nationalisation of all the mass media but also the educational system, academia; the humanities; political economy, history and so on. Even science and mathematics must be controlled as per the ruling clique. Essentially, the respective ruling clique, attempted to totally control society; recreate a contrived superior society in their own respective ideological image. Claiming to be the answer for a better society, thereby any opposition by definition being in the wrong. If not utopian as dam as well near enough. It should be obvious that all of these Revolutions were anti-capitalist and anti-democratic, being precisely the logic of totalitarianism. Is this sounding familiar? Well, it ought to.
For, it seems to me we in the West are presently experiencing just such a similar historical event. Though, more subtle, being over a longer period- of- time, over decades, arguably, starting in the 1960’s. In any event, we seem to be sleepwalking into a new form of contrived society.
Certainly, having avoided this catastrophe throughout the last century the Anglophone World are now pursuing this very path, American academia and society thereon being the pioneer though influenced by the German neo-Marxist Frankfurt School plus the French Post-Modernists, a hotchpotch therefrom of neo-Marxism. It is of course far less kinetic or brutal than the 20th century revolutions - at least for now. In any event, more like Mao’s subtle political repression, like denouncing ‘wrong’ thinking or ‘re-education’ of ‘dissenters’ rather than Stalin’s blatant brutality…

Yet, by all intents and purposes, a Revolution led by the Radical Left for the overthrow of capitalism, or, Western civilisation, is now underway. Rather than an organised clique instead an ever-growing aggregation of like-minded globalist elites leading the charge. Becoming ever dominant as they spread throughout Western institutions, even businesses, yes, the capitalists including the financial sectors (If you can’t beat them join them!). Though, ultimately deriving from Western Universities therefrom through its professional diaspora. Revealed through various events the process quietly pursuing its path.
Though this present Revolution is also taking a different path to power to the Marxian revolutionary template. (Which worked out well didn’t it?). Instead, has adopted the neo-Marxist or cultural Marxist Revolutionary model that is; first a cultural but then social thence a political thence finally an economic Revolution. Specifically, through Wokism; the cultural revolution; that is gaining control over the Western institutions, thence reciprocally, a social thence an economic revolution; in the name of environmentalism. What I describe as DeepGreenism, for in reality, is the hijack and corruption of the good cause of environmentalism. Brothers and sisters of goodwill I could write about so much more, but space is at a premium.

They are always completely out of touch with the masses as too busy virtue-signalling to each other and in the mirror.

Thank you so much for this beautiful song, Mr. Fox. I so appreciate that it is not only a cutting condemnation of censorship, but also a hopeful anthem of encouragement. It seems to say, "You are not the only one feeling the pressure of societally enforced silence. You are not alone. Let us dare to speak our beautiful, terrible, powerful ideas." Praying for you and your family as you walk this difficult path to bring free speech back from the brink of extinction.
