The gardener on the tambourine….outstanding
If Justin has put out a whole album reinventing his original songs, I'm in. This is excellent work.
I want this music for my 4tet.
He should do, and soon. We all need cheering up.
I'm in, too❤
I’m in as well!
Oh Lord have Mercy!
Bang a gong!
To get him to do more with this group would be beyond Heavenly.
Can someone who actually knows him GET THROUGH to him?
This is so much better than that scheiss back-up band, on solo tours. Sorry, but they are so shabby compared to the amazing Moodies.
Must be very difficult without a decent producer, to get things done.
We live in such a different world now.
Expenses and costs outweigh Quality and Beauty.
I clasp my pearls.
This was the first band that I recall writing stories into their songs.... and you could understand all of the words.
Justin has this uncanny ability to draw you into his music. It's like you can't escape and you don't want to because there is no artist like him or The Moody Blues. They're unique and they're inviting. They reel you in with harmonious sounds and then imprison you in their lyrics. This is just another brilliant reinvention of a classic turned into another classic.
Who doesn’t know every word? ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much ☺️;
I don’t but I love it anyway. The simple arrangement is great , but the same some with the Clasical Quartet is fabulous for being totally different.
This version of “Story” leaves me breathless! I don’t know how Justin keeps topping himself but he does! I saw him twice in concert this week, Sunday in RI and Wed. in Rockport Ma. Story in Your Eyes is one of his two encore songs (the other being IKYOTS) and at age 74 Justin sang it beautifully!! It gave me shivers and brought tears to my eyes! I hope he continues touring for years to come! 💙💙
Absolutely love this song.
You always amaze me Justin ! Beautiful video and as always, a great song.
He's gotta be pushing 80 ... WTH??? He's still got it. I guess music keeps you young.
Born 14 October 1946, which makes him 77 this October. Probably close to 70 when this was shot. He was really young when the band got its start.
In any version, mix, or orchestration, this is still in my top 3 favorite Justin tunes.
God I wish there was an hour of this.
What a true gift for us all!! Justin has the most beautiful voice, soft and lovely..🌹🌹🌹🌹..... What a true 🎨🎨 artist!!!!! Love his singing!!!! 🥀🥀🥀🥀. .2022...
Justin Hayward is still amazing.
He hasn't lost his voice, unlike several of his contemporaries ( who shall remain unnamed out of respect )
Ive been listieng to the moodys since i was about 3yrs old. They will never get old nor will i ever tire of them. Classic true gentlemen. I love um
Unbelievably good. Always been a Justin fan... and it's never waiverd.
This rivals the original, beautiful alternative. Every positive adjective I can think of it deserves.
This is one of the many great songs from one of the greatest bands.
Justin has such a beautiful heart
Justin, this was a joy to watch. Much love to you! 💕
I would buy a album of Justin Hayward and the Quartet.
Thank you 😊/
Justin's voice... timeless. I love this rendition.
So very beautiful. You and the Moody Blues are like a fine wine. The older you are, the better.
I particularly enjoyed that clear, sharp flute but it is all fantastic!
Thanks for supporting my music ❤️I'm so grateful and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information if that's ok by you.
@@justinhayward5136scammer!
As always Sharon 😊
Awsome!!!!!
This is by far the best arrangement of this track I have ever heard. OUTSTANDING!
I could listen to that voice all day. The sexiest voice in rock and roll. He still sounds magnificent.
Lovely!🌹
Thank you 🎉-
I love this!
Such a fun video with a step in the past and in the present. I love seeing and hearing Justin sing and play this beautiful song. The other musicians add more pleasure to the whole performance.
Fantastic. His voice is a little softer but once in a while you hear the voice of 1969.
Nothing beats nights --the very charm of it--and his mea nings -- written for his wife of forever -- it gives you insight into him as well as the rest of the members --so inclusive of John Lodge as well --i believe the two main writers of the Moodies songs
Love the song, love the arrangement, love the performance.
That was fantastic... Justin Hayward is genius. The Moody Blues recording of this song from Every Good Boy Deserves favour was a favorite song for me from the first time I heard it when I was 8 years old. This new rendition holds true to the spirit of the original recording. I really enjoyed this very much.
I'm still smiling - this is the sprightliest version of one of my favorite songs I've ever heard. Well done!
I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. I"m just now hearing this.
I love YT for stuff like this. New arrangement, young energy, and Justin's voice that just doesn't seem to change...all these years later. Doubt if any of these ladies had ever heard of The Moody Blues before this.
SEEN THE BAND OVER 10 TIMES ONLY WORD IS AMAZING,JUST AMAZING,AND HE IS A DAMN GOOD GUITARIST TOO
A nice way to begin the day listening to a fine arrangement of this beautiful song. Nice guitar, too! By the way, Justin Hayward's solo show is fabulous!!
Perfect, Justin, a quartet of your lovely song….love it. 💕 washes all our heartaches away, what a good musical and visual listen this is ❤ 🎵🎶🎵
Seems like Justin is re-inventing himself and freshening up his music- hopefully for a new audience as well as the older one. Quite an achievement for someone in their very late 60's.
Gordon Harrison He's a genius, quite simply!
Gordon Harrison He is actually 72 this year! Hard to believe..I was born on his 8th birthday. So cool to share a birthday with someone this famous!
Genius is as genius does.
The coolest music teacher ever. Teaching the youth what it is. I wish it were so. The world would be a better place. At least these kids got that experience.
Always one of my favorites...glad he agrees.
Excellent. I could hear that over and over.
Justin this was absolutely fabulous such talented players a 50 year old song that is so timeless great arrangement
Moody Blues,Beatles,Procul Harum,Pink Floyd...the best !all!
So beautiful. My heart just melted from the beauty. You know a song is outstanding when it can stand up to any kind of arrangement and be this good.
In a word, WOW!
Thank you Justin. This version makes one feel so up. You are and always be such a beautiful and talented man. ❤️🎶🎼❤️
😊thank you ;-
Beautiful, Justin! Thank you for my whole heart!
Fantastic! I had to go listen to the whole album after this..

Very cool. Great twist to an already great tune
Excellent well written song , and musicality is brilliant.
I 💙 this. He's been my favorite for years.
Cant believe I am just hearing this now.....guess I have been under a rock....oh yeah covid!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Moody Blues and Eric Clapton. What else do we need. Thank you so much for the music!
Lithe, lovely and gorgeous arrangement.
your songs make me cry
One of my fav rockers from the Moodies that so works in this format - love it
Oh my dear God, that was fantastic!!!! Did they do any more together??? Please!!!
Great band and at the same time both melodious and with a well timed tension.
Wow! What a treat.
Wow, just a big wow !
I so love this, I keep playing it over & over, and sharing....will share again today!!
Thanks for supporting my music ❤️I'm so grateful and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information if that's ok by you.
it works well
Awesome!!!
Extremely well done except for the guy who walks in out of nowhere holding his trombone totally incorrectly......a jarring visual and hopefully I'm the only trombone player who sees this video lol
What an absolute masterpiece! Justin Hayward remains my favorite living musician.
That was wonderful, a tad humorous and I absolutely loved it!❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent, 5 stars 😊
This is magnificent. Even at this late date, I hope Justin would get together with these incredibly talented musicians and put out an album of his solo songs and Moodies' greats with them. Bravo!
Thank you Justin . Bless you.❤
Great arrangement Justin more please
One of the best versions of this.
The human voice is the greatest instrument and also That bridge!
That was great...love to hear more played this way. A whole album - I agree with the others.
This is amazingly brilliant!!!!
Thanks Justin. I have been listening to the Moody Blues since Days of Future Past. I’ve lost count of how many times I saw you in concert (10-12?) . I absolutely love what you are doing now on RUclips. I look forward to every song you put up. It REALLY helps during this pandemic. Thank you so much.
Absolutely loved this!!
Justin with a chamber quartet and trombone and keyboard. Wouldn't that be a septtet? I think so. Still a great take with a great song. It will be one of a very few I can say ,truly beautiful. peace
Quartetto Euphoria.
Wonderful,absolutely wonderful!! E
Oh, my gosh, just gorgeous…The Voice, the Music, it all was sublime ❤️
Love, love, love this!
Nice.
FUCKING class stuff Justin
Beautiful!
First time seeing this one, such fun! beautiful music-beautiful location. Is this the church you speak of practicing in sometimes?
This and any version of this is so beautiful. Especially if Justin is singing! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Wow ..loved it ..
Everything about this is perfect. Justin just gets better and better, and he was brilliant in the 1970s.
I've liked this song since buying the album when it came out. And I'm glad to find this. It's a nice addition.
Too bad they couldn't have slyly used the remaining Moody's to play the other old guys.
Love this version ❤️ so much. Everything Justin does is wonderful.
I love this!!! I love his voice so much.
I love the Moody Blues, ever since I first heard them around 1970, and Justin still has a better voice than most modern young stars. But to call this version of that song The Quartetto is completely wrong, as there is an orchestra backing the song, not just a quartet. I love it though. It's just the title is a misnomer.
Yes, there is more than a quartet in the arrangement, however the recording still features Quartetto Euphoria. So, in that respect it is not wrong.
Wow!
Super. Bravo! On core!
Well, that was just totally awesome! Justin, you just keep rolling on. We are so mesmerized by your heartfelt music.
Thank you!❤
I love u Justin
