- lockdown vlog finally out! was stuck at home for 60 days, never have i ever cooked so much 😅 on the bright side i leveled up on my cooking skills, and got to spend more quality time with my cat, and at least tried to workout, enjoy! 🤪

wow, 60 days of lockdown sounds awfully long but i’m glad that you guys didn’t have too much of a hard time! the food also looked amazing. usually i would say that i would love to have a friend like you, but instead i’ll aspire to be that good vibe and life-loving friend instead 🧚 thank you for the fun content yuyu xxx
i also experienced this lockdown and let me just tell you, we did not have access to nearly as much food you did lmaooo. we were actually running out at one point. but it's bc I live in a more rural area. i know ppl in the city were getting lots of food and were able to get packages the whole time. anyways, i appreciate how much effort you put into your videos when you speak Chinese omg.
I believe Yusai was lucky enough to grab all of this food. My friends in Shanghai were running out of everything even salt, no one could imagine to buy coke or different kinds of noodles as we saw in a video.
@@colabook17 yeah but i know it was really different in the city compared to the rural area. they were fine the whole time and received multiple packages from the government, whereas we got really random, unhelpful things. for a long time I was unable to buy medicine that I desperately needed.
@Mar It sorry, it might have sound like i assumed it was not difficult in the city. i did not mean it that way at all. i know for a fact that the quarantine was hard on everyone.
I live in NYC and this reminds me of the height of Covid lockdown in 2020. I workout everyday during that time and it helped me tremendously, mentally and physically. Stay strong!
3:16 chinese scallian pancake with chilli oil
4:01 tuna pesto pasta (salt, pepper, olive oil, basil, toasted pine nuts. lots of pesto.)
4:42 kimchi tuna fried rice (fry chopped onion, add chopped kimchi, fry, add rice and tuna, add sesame oil, soy sauce, salt. top with fried egg and nori, white toasted sesame seeds & bokchoy)
6:30 honeydew and celery smoothie
6:35 malaysian style chicken nyonya curry (potato, carrot, onion)
11:13 fish sauce se asian style chicken wings w stir fried veg and tomato egg
13:36 thai shrimp fried rice (fry shrimp in oil and remove. fry eggs and slightly break apart yolk, add micned garlic. add in rice that has already had sauces added in (fish sauce, white pepper, soy sauce, salt). add back in shrimp. add scallians, serve with sliced cucumber for freshness.
15:48 hotdogs with chopped onion, chopped pickles and tomato sauce. serve with fried egg optional (fry buns in butter)

So I am a Puerto Rican who cooks Chinese food and Vietnamese food on a regular basis. I love it! I couldn't imagine life without my Asian food. And it tastes better than the restaurants.

Lockdown was over here in Canada but we got high gas price and inflation; so during lockdown it was better.
