A Cartography of Hope

This Screendance Film video debuted in Tulsa during the "map(un)mapped" exhibition in August in 2023. It is a collaborative creation by Francine Ringold, Poet; Richard Bernet, Music; Abby Ross, Videographer; Morgan Bronk Lutz, Editor and Rachel Whiting, Dance Performance.
In 2024, Invertigo Dance Theatre's long-standing community engagement program - Dancing Through Parkinson’s - which utilizes dance as a means to inspire connection and well-being for people with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, created a multi-media performance Cartography of Hope: A Journey of Change, that premiered at Highways Performance Space.
These two performances of poetry, dance, film and art included a weeklong residency at Highways Performance Space, featuring free movement classes, a writing workshop with Francine Ringold.
