Love it, Fiona! You just kept tweaking it and made it so beautiful. Encouraging to me because I tend to get frustrated when my piece is not turning out like I expected.

I can be tricky at times. I have scrapped a few in my time but trying to learn how to tweak the outco e to get what I want 😉

I don't see Marble, but I understand your rationale. 😊

With non taut canvasses if you dampen the back with a wet cloth and leave to dry. It helps the canvas to tighten up. Stops the middle sag.
Ps another beautiful piece of work. 😊

NICE FIONA !!! I FINALLY BROKE DOWN AND ORDERED 40 LITRE'S (YES 40 LIFTRE'S ) OF AUSTRALIAN FLOETROL. SHIPPING IS LESS THAT WAY. IT ARRIVES TOMORROW. CAN NOT WAIT TO GET INTO IT. I AM IN IT TO WIN IT. I AM TIRED OF OTHER CHANNELS THAT GOT ME INTO USING GLUE AND BAD RESULTS ALL AROUND. IF YOU WANT BEAUTIFUL ARTS LIKE YOU DO. THEN YOU HAVE TO USE THE BEST. FROM NOW ON I WILL STICK WITH LIQUIDEX AND AUSI FLOETROL.

😯 That's a lot of Floetrol. I think Kanella did a post recently about some that she had forgotten about in the back of the cupboard that was about 4 years old or something, and it wasn't any good. So I would say it's best to use it in the first couple of years. But that is very exciting. Enjoy your pouring!

@@fionascreativecanvas Well I am still learning so I go thru a lot of pouring medium. Because no one on youtube show the consistency on a consistency chart. So it is hard to tell by looking at someone dripping it in a cup. And I am trying to pull off Fiona arts reverse pour. And i have only been sucessful 2 times an they do not look 3d when dry. She wants to keep it a secret I guess because I offered her however much money she wants to teach me and she declined. when she came to las vegas no one walked away being able to do the reverse flower.

@@mefirst4266 Problem is different techniques require different constancy's. I'm still playing around with consistency myself. Especially for the bigger ones. I'm not sure how to get them to tilt evenly the way I want. I still do check the flow of my paint form time to time on a chart. But the most important part is to have all you paints the same consistency as each other. So you don't get paints flowing at different rates. Practice is the best way to learn and it sounds like you will be able to get lots of practice in with all that floetrol!

@@fionascreativecanvas Thank you so much for your advice. You and Olga Soby are so kind and the only 2 people I follow now. I was doing so good until people started recommending glue. I got one thing to say about glue. Stay Away from it. Only causes bubbles and makes you fail too much. I can paint by hand. But only outdoor stuff. I have learned one good tip. If you use distilled water your paint will last for up to 1yr without going bad.
And a drop or 2 of dawn dish soap in a 8oz bottle of water make bubbles almost dissapear.

Thanks for the tips. I started out using glue. I haven't tried it in a long time. Have wondered how it would go since my skills have improved 🤔. Might have to test it and see how bad it is 😆

Perhaps I'll have to make a video on the basics. But I tend to stick with what I know and experiment from time to time. I learnt everything from whating lots of videos and picking up things over time.
