So we're closing out our Murder Monday..on a Wednesday. 🙈 Thank you guys for being patient for this video being late - I explained why at the beginning. I just want you all to know how much I appreciate being welcomed into The Warning Army. With this concert and any other Warning video I watch. It's so fun to have you guys along for the journey/my discovery. 🙂⚡

Dany's leads are so moving in this song, I still get goosebumps every time I listen to it. I simply can't wrap my brain around how literal teenagers wrote such a deep & meaningful story AND on only their 2nd full length album. The Warning ladies are just built different!

This song is a classic revival of the Rock Ballad. Slow entro, big build up, fantastic vocals and harmonies, a short but well placed guitar solo, with a great finale. It doesn't get any better than this.

Wow, this has been so much fun I can hardly believe it's The End! The only word I can think of for this song is "epic." At the end of The End, the crowd is shouting "otra" - another, like "encore." Thanks for sharing with us, Nikki!

Their new single Automatic Sun drops April 5th and their Headling European Tour starts April 4th in Madrid Spain and concludes April 27th in London England. 19 shows in 24 days a grueling schedule but I believe they’ll excel at this. 11 countries plus 3 shows in Japan in June
It's hard to not feel a little bad for a tragic character like the queen of the Murder scenes 😅
You do need to see the vlogs #23-25 and 26, you will understand the whole story and the genius of these amazing young ladies as kids.

Since you've now finished the album, you should check out the 3 vlogs where they discuss the chapters of the story. They are a fun watch and I'm sure plenty of fans would love to watch you react to them, if you're feeling up to it. Either way, you should definitely go watch them while the story is fresh in your mind. I'm always blown away by the talent these three young women have, all three play piano, all three have great voices, even though Ale doesn't like to sing, all three have mastered their instruments, and they have so much stage presence at such a young age. This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and when it's in context to the story it makes it even more special.
At the end of the song the fans were asking for an encore.

Pau's voice, especially, has always had that ability, even before QotMS. Black Holes, Show Me The Light... hell, even Escape The Mind always gets me emotional when I listen to it! And as for how she's progressed since then... I've never once managed to listen to Breathe without crying. I can't wait to find out how she'll absolutely brutalize my emotions even more on Keep Me Fed; I've no doubt that she will!

This song is such a beautiful denouement to this sad and tragic saga. You are not alone in your ambivalent sentiment toward The Queen. I feel that same sympathy and sadness for this evil, and nefarious character every time - to tears!
But what I really luv is, how beautifully, artistically, and emotively Pau conveys the demise (the suicide) of such a depraved character, who in this case is THE QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE.

Without a doubt this song is one of my favorites too. The lyrics, Pau's voice, Ale's chorus and that beautiful Dany guitar. These girls are simply incredible. ♥♥♥
Nikki, I suggest that you listen to the studio version of The End on the album, even if you don’t make a reaction video of it. Dany’s guitar and Dany and Ale’s harmony vocals are perfectly mixed with Pau’s vocals; the piano at the beginning is done on a grand piano with a beautiful tone; and Pau’s vocals are close miked so you can clearly hear the lovely slight raspiness of her voice. It is gorgeous.
The official video for Martirio is gorgeous, too. I think you’ll love it as much as I and pretty much everybody else does.

I don´t know if you have noticed that Dust to dust the first song on the album, it fits seamlessly after The End. and both songs are sung by Pau. You can play the album on repeat but never notice where it ends. The end ends with a open chord ringing out and Dust top dust begins with Ale´s base line. I heard Dany in a interview about the QOTMS album and how it came to be, the meaning of it and if it is all thoughts in the Queens mind. And Dany said they did not write a definitive ending, because they want the audience to interpret it on their own. I can see the Queen planning and thinking and being mad wondering how she is going to make the person of her interest to hers, and this rock opera (concept album) is a perfect mind game. I have really enjoyed your Murder Mondays. Keep it up Nikki!

As regards another TW song, they released the live version from the Pepsi center CDMX of Hell you call a dream - it’s way better than the studio version!
The music video for XXI Century Blood is like a short film, and its amazing!!! Definitely one you should check out!!
I could never understand why this song was not more popular as I think it is Epic. All aspects of this song are incredible Pau vocals are passionate and emotional, Dany’s guitar is almost telling a story and the Bass is the heartbeat of the song.
Until I heard HYCAD last October this probably was my favourite- though as not been in concert for years I seldom listened to it. Your review has reminded me to listen more often to this masterpiece.
I keep coming back to this album. I started with Error, went back to XXI Century Blood, and love the new stuff, especially the live versions. But, my favorite is QOTMS.

I think the Queen regrets but just not the killings. She regrets not being with her love or dying who knows.
I suggest the 4 acoustic songs from this album they did shortly after this show. Sinister Smiles, Hunter, Red Hands, and The End. Now is perfect while it's still fresh for you.
But the acoustic version of this song simply can't compete with this. In my view she should skip the acoustic version of The End. The other acoustic versions are fantastic.
Dany's guitar sounds mournful, while Pau's vocals are soaring above it. Her character doesn't sound remorseful, though perhaps a bit regretful of how it ends for her.
What can even be said about Ale's piano, and bass playing. One look at her right hand while playing the piano and seeing the damage done from the concert and you can see her passion and dedication to her art.
Such a gorgeous song, and a perfect end to the album.

The plaintive guitar gets me too. This song filled me with sadness before I realized it was part of a larger story. Of course I have sympathy for the Queen in this song, it’s a tragedy and humans are tragic creatures. Not everyth😢ends happily. I love the way it cycles back to the beginning. I’ve never seen anyone mention this but around this time and when they played the 4 songs from this album acoustically in the hotel lobby (have you seen those? You’d like them.) Pau was wearing a Pulp Fiction shirt, and in that movie Tarantino plays with time loops, beginning the movie halfway through it (been so long I can’t remember exactly. Not saying they got the idea there, but maybe…..)
This song always gives me chills! Such a perfect ending to the tragedy of the Crimson Queen. And Pau's voice is gorgeous, as always!
The way I take the contradiction between "I don't regret" and "I know it was wrong" is that she _logically_ knows she's a monster. She knows that she's causing harm, and, rationally, that that's bad. But she's incapable of _feeling_ remorse -- she can't feel empathy for her victims, and she seems to derive some pleasure from killing (or at least, some kind of addictive thrill). I think her death was a suicide; she knows she can't change her ways, but she knows she needs to stop. I think that's what she means by "With bloodstained hands, I make amends".
I adore the way _The End_ parallels _Dust to Dust,_ nicely bookending the story. There's the parallel of "Dust to dust, our bones will rust, and we shall start again," // "Stars always seem to fade; It's a little too late to start over again". There's the fact that both songs have Pau singing lead vocal, but the final vocal line is Dani crying out (as if in frustration and pain? Is that the 'death-cry' of the evil side, finally defeated?) And there's the fact that _Dust to Dust_ is implied to be the Queen's funeral, so must chronologically occur _after_ her suicide in _The End._
I feel like she doesn't regret the murdering but, regrets the outcome. Regrets that her story has come to an end. Such talent in this band. Dany giving masterful emotional guitarwork like one of her idols (David Gilmour) Pau delivering such powerful and emotional vocals while drumming, And Ale reminding me of Geddy Lee playing keys with a slung up bass. Even not taking their age into consideration this is an excellent song and an excellent live performance. Taking their age into consideration, for me it leaves me in awe.

Amazing conclusion to an incredible album. What an amazing song. im glad you loved it. It gets me so mad that covid happened. They were going to tour this album for the first time in the U.S in 2020, so unfortunate.

21st Century Blood was their first music video. Might be a good place to start if you haven't seen it yet. Personally my favorite of their videos so far.
The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade) has an epic quality to it. It does an amazing job of closing out the story.
I am going to miss Murder Mondays, but I am sure I will enjoy watching other reactions that you do. You wanted some suggestions for music videos by The Warning, so here goes. XXI Century Blood was their first music video, and is amazing. The video won several awards. The cover of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara for The Blacklist Album. They reimagined the song, and made an incredible video with a unique atmosphere to it. Mateiro which is their second song in Spanish. The song and the video are both stunning.
As far as new bands to check out I am going to suggest Freeze The Fall. www.youtube.com/@freeze_the_fall_band A young band out of Canada, I discovered them about eight months ago. They had posted a live video of them doing a cover of Evolve by The Warning, at a performance at Crown and Thieves, so I checked it out. They had also posted live videos of five original songs from that same performance, Daughters of Witches, One Left Standing, Masquerade, Insomnia, and 46. They have an EP releasing soon, and have release two videos from that. The first was a completely new song called Glitch, and the second is an updated version of Daughters of Witches.
