Thanks Si, and well done on that hard race yesterday. I shouldn't have started in the Cat A category because I was left for dead as we climbed the first ascent!! However, it was a recon ride for me too. I saw many riders on Trons, so I changed to one as well. Maybe I should have gone with the Scott!
Thanks again for the recon! I always wonder about bike choice when it comes down to riding a course solo, vs riding in a pack. Someone's gotta have numbers based on that. Or perhaps the difference is negligible.
No it’s a good question and something we have discussed before , for this one it’s more about selecting your bike on your race tactic for either survival or attack. If you have enough in the legs to be offensive then you can go more aero for sure but if it’s survival then I think more all round is better choice.
@@SiBradeley That makes sense. Yet with this course, the attacks could be coming from anywhere! I haven't hit level 42 yet for the super wheels, so will probs stick with Tron.
If you have the Tron Id recommend going with that. Just slightly lighter than aero which youll be pleased with up pot bank when you dont have the feather. Id think more about survival than the finish sprint, which can be timed/gamed anyway
Better consider it before the start. What was I thinking when I decided to ride the mix D’s! But what about the powerups? What’s it gonna be boy, 3 or 4. 😂
Nice touch with the Yorkshire tea!! Can’t operate without a cup in the morning lol
A good yorkshire brew with a hobnob is life in my opinion. :-)
Brutal awaits us.
Thanks for the recon notes

Omg no idea how to survive this one… Zwiftinsider mentioned 4 powerups, but I just count 3 from your video? 1x lap banner and 2x segment banner?
Im reconsidering my life choices after recon riding this course myself Manon
