Say what you will about Neco Arc's effectiveness as a character, but you can't say it doesn't take some skill to play well. Both one of the most skill-based AND luck-based characters in Melty right now. Neco Arcs are hard workers.
No, neco is the hardest character in the game hands down because she was made to be weak. as half of her buttons just don’t combo at all, she has the worst throw in the game, as well as the lowest hp. Most characters have a pretty cut and dry bnb that can do pretty good damage and provide solid oki/safejumps, but neco is a huge exception. It's damage output are small, and the most reliable damage you can dish out from her is either from her laser, or her auto combo finisher, which isn't reliable on long run since your opponent can predict this combo pattern over and over again. I'm honestly surprised that someone out there dedicated to mastered Neco-arc

The shear amount of effort a Neco Arc player has to do to do what most characters can do effortlessly is very frustrating to watch. You're watching someone fight with a toothpick while the opponent has a pickaxe lol.

Neco Arc isn’t the most solid character but she’s zany enough you can do some decent damage. Against most other characters this Neco could have probably won outright, but Vlov the white haired guy is possibly the most braindead zoner in modern fighting games. Half his kit is full screen projectiles with massive hit boxes and not insignifigant chip on block. It’s mind blowing that they haven’t nerfed him to reasonable by now

The fact that the game didn't get any balance changes for almost a year, and when it did, Vlov got fucking buffed, should speak volumes about the developer team; I bet at least 10 of them main Vlov.
