Every IndyCar Win in 2000 (CART)

Year 5 of the split. While the Indy Racing League was slowly starting to gain popularity, CART was able to remain strong amidst a stable 20-race schedule as well as great parity, as 11 drivers made their way to victory lane. This year would see the final races for Homestead and Gateway in CART, as both tracks would make their way to the Indy Racing League. Roberto Moreno would secure his first win with Patrick Racing, and Cristiano da Matta would secure his first win and the only win for PPI Motorsports. Chip Ganassi Racing, which dominated the last four years, would fall as Team Penske rose, with new drivers Helio Castroneves and Gil de Ferran rising to the top and de Ferran winning the 2000 championship. In my lifetime, I have never seen a driver so unlucky at a track *NOT NAMED IMS* like Gil De Ferran was at Long Beach.
