The 2024 season was... interesting. The first two thirds were filled with controversy. Outside of the amazing Indy 500, the season had a rough start, with a double disqualification at St. Pete due to Penske illegally using P2P and a hybrid introduction partway through the year that sucked nards. Thankfully, the oval-filled final third enabled the season to end on a high. Colton Herta would have his best season in years with a 2nd place points finish, while Will Power broke a 2-year drought and scored 3 wins.
