Michael I am impressed again. i just found your channel a few days ago. Your Por Por is remarkable just as you are. You have three cultures and speak at least 3 languages. You will go far. Amazing!

Your grandmother is so versatile in her cooking.I like that she learned to make it because you like it and your dad likes it because he’s Italian. That’s so thoughtful.
You are also so versatile because I didn’t know you could speak 3 languages. That’s amazing.Thank you for the new version of meatball recipe. I will try to make it along with her sauce.

Yes my dad is Italian and he likes it. I studied it in high school and have some italian speaking relatives. Not so many Chinese speaking relatives. We eat this maybe once a week :)

What a great video! I am impressed by the complete mix of cultures here. Even adding the sausage and meatballs with chopsticks.

brings back lots of memories, Michael. My family used to make huge platters of spaghetti and meatballs when other chinese families came over. That and chow mein. They were the staple of our monthly gatherings. Guess we made the meatballs italian way fried with bread crumbs.

@@MichaelNicastro did you ever think of writing a family history book? I did with my dad about 20 years ago and then updated it recently. How about a cookbook with all of popo's great recipes?

@@listerchen778 That's profound! Yeah I feel like the fun videos that I have been doing are helping document my experience. I'm coming out with a mini video course next week. But yes good reminder I should do a more thorough documentation. Have a good new year!
