In all likelihood his personality, patience, and efficiency as a mobster probably would have made him a far more competent boss than Tony was. Bobby would have been another Jackie Sr and not a Tony or Junior.
Phil is intelligent and has a masterful understanding of the mob ecosystem, so knows all this and has Bobby targeted too. Like he said, decapitate and do business with whatever’s left. Bobby was a threat to New York as long as he was alive to take control of the Jersey family, and Phil was smart to not underestimate that possibility.
19:45.. Richie Aprile says to Chrissy… “you wanna raise your hands you give her your last name… then… it’s none of my fucking business.. until then.. keep your hands in your pockets”
your rhetoric is excellent, as are your editing skills. thank you for quality content every time you post. /tips hat
Would you ever consider reviewing the British gangster film The long Good Friday ?
Add Get Carter to that!
This was a terrific video. Some parts I agreed with, some I didn't, but I still thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Maybe it's because I'm high and drunk at the moment. Anyhow, thank you, and have a good night to all.
This was great and thanks for not ruining it with annoying music
Another great video Cineranter mate, the next character analysis you should do is Paulie Gualtieri
This was such a comprehensive, deep-dive-look at a very interesting character. It was informative, funny, and just damn entertaining. Honestly, one of you best videos in my opinion CineRanter. Your look at Silvio was equally as amazing as well! You'll obviously be doing a video on Paulie Gualtieri, but I would also like to see a video on Patsy Parisi soon. Thanks again CineRanter!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 nice and perfect as always
now do a video on the Kendrick Drake beef, whatever happened there
I got Dr Droop or whoever winning
@@DieHardBall lmao
They the Uncle Bens that made that one song? "Up in da cluuuub 🎶"
You're making a video. I always wondered how it's done....
Fantastic video, a massive effort!
Bobby is one of my favorite characters on the show. The earlier seasons he would get picked on but got more responsibility as the series went on even stood up for himself against Paulie and Tony when he beat him in the fight
Just finished Soporanos. Very good analysis, well done.
Great analysis as always
You could tell that bobby got over his first killing and enjoying every minute of the higher ranks in the end
I loved Bobby like a brother in law
That Mortadella is Number 3!? He used to be Jr. Sopranos Driver!!
Tony was probably jealous of how much junior cared about Bobby since that seems like his real father figure in the flashbacks
Good video thanks!
I love your Sopranos breakdowns but it's twice now so I gotta... At 24:18 Bobby does not cause DISSENT. Dysentery is a nasty illness. Great vids!!!
I thought at Livia's wake Bobby said "my father's very ill too"
You are correct, it's this video that got that wrong. He seems to get a lot wrong about this show.
Am I crazy or is this your best video yet?
14 minutes ago? ive struck gold 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Some people are so far behind the race they actually think they're leading.
@@FelineLegion charles schwab ova hea
This was a great analysis.. thank you!
Broooo I keep watching your videos. And suddenly hearing you say a word in Arabic was cool. Take care brother
21:31 Agreed, a very rich language to learn from.
awesome analysis. "you probably don't hear it when it happens"......just like he didn't hear his life being destroyed by Janice until it was too late
Great video and very valid points on Bobby’s character.
Have you ever watched Glengarry glen ross i know that movie doesn't fit in your genre but i just watched it and i cant help but feel like im missing the main point just wondering cause i really like your analysis videos
Have you watched Shogun yet? Excellent show.
excellent analysis!
When Tony had him do the hit in Canada I don't think it was because they got in the fight. I thought Tony put the hit out when they were out on the boat (which was before the flight).
1:13 the word you were looking for was coax, not coach.
At 1:55 you said Bobby was mistakenly killed because He thought the war was over.
No Bobby and Silvio were the first two shot at the start of the New Jersey, New York war.
That lake they are on is Greenwood lake NY, I remember when they were shooting that episode. You can actually see my house in one of the shots.
All along I thought it was Lake George. Greenwood Lake is more fitting considering it's history with the Mafia.
@@greatwall8158 a lot of problems get solved at the bottom of that lake.
🤣 bro definitely knows about GWL.
"I can see your house from here"
I do love the secret language you use. Got one of my mates to watch one of your videos, he’d seen Sopranos once years ago and genuinely thought you were an illiterate idiot 😂
Great video ...
Cineranter AGAIN WITH THE SCENARIOS
Just fantastic! Along with the Vito link... perfect - this is better than Fallout! Volvo...
When Tony and Bobby fought, it was awesome.
Yeah Bobby won that round
Idk why but reading all of these comments in the voices of generic American Italian mobsters is fucking hilarious
This guy throws the best low key jabs lol. The boat not sinking one had me laughing out loud.
Bobby leans against the car cuz he's supposed to be shown half out of gas from the walk over to the car... setting up the joke.
After finishing the show, I feel like I unlocked all the side quests.
Great Video
17:45 "Bobby's heart is as fat as his ass" 😂😂
Great job on the video Bobby was the most innocent or so I thought
