    Excellent on both of course. Slight preference to the 4/4

    Nice sounds, for me the 4/4 seems to be a bit brighter. I think that I prefer that one.

    My personal preference is the 4/4, it has a brighter color to the sound that I like, and it sounds more clear and melodic. I also prefer the rounded low register of the 6/4 horn, I believe this is where a 5/4 horn would have the best of both worlds!

    The larger the richer. But if you are not used to the larger one or do not have the physique even professionals will have troubles fulfilling its potential.

    I think in terms of sound I would go for the 6/4.

      Perhaps I would have gone for a Besson Sovereign, being a Brass band musician.
      I also have to honestly admit that I don't know of any Brass Band that play on Adams Tubas. You do see a lot of people in Wind or Symphony Orchestras playing these beautiful tubas
