It always took me a few listens to pick up every line in his songs, that's the thing about K.A.A.N. though. He has lyrics for WEEKS, but he also has crazy good delivery and beat selection. His music is very nice to the ear edit: the dude is feeling much better nowadays thankfully
kaan struggled hard with mental health in his early career, he got crazy crazy deep and philosophical at times like my favorite song of his “one time” (could you maybe react to that pls?)
"And I found that the pain is the perfect companion to finally understand that the man has been outstanding" can't get to the top without getting your ass busted
--Beseeching the people by showing we’re equal Not evil, deceitful like most of them be when they slave about materials ""We're never free"" - it’s a fucking disease or a pretence of rhetoric ""Try to repent for your sins ‘cause at the beginning we’re given no room with no way""-- I feel like this last line is reference to biblical concept that "People are already born with sin, and so they have to repent the rest of their life" type of thing, and i agree with the sentiment. This "no room with no way" situation where you are labeled as a sinner before you even can do anything - that is really just a pretence. It sort of ties up with how he always sings about how people "become evil in the process", when they being dishonest, when they "slave about materials" and put money ahead of truth, etc etc etc And so it almost feels like he's mocking this concept of "born as sinners" and saying that "being evil is a choice", but it's just strange how he packed this line at the very end of the song every time i listen this song i can't stop thinking about this final part, lol
"With K.A.A.N. it's different" yes absolutely. Listen to Searching for some more deep lines or Purple Skies. That one definitely has a different vibe to anything you'll hear from anyone but him.
