I was 17 years old when this came out, smoked with my buddies and watched it in theaters. It has so much nostalgia for me
I watched this at home with my brother. Would have rather not but there was no real choice cuz we weren't allowed out the house despite being high schoolers. :( So glad to be an adult now.
My brother got 2 tickets to a special 420 prerelease viewing where the movie started at 4:20 (I don't remember if it was ON 4/20 though)

I'm glad there was a reference including the "Be taller!" line, which is actually the funniest in the movie. (2nd place: "I seent it!" Strangely absent...)

Actually, if you follow Seth's video that can be found easily here on RUclips, you will find that you take some of the gummed parts off of a few pieces of rolling paper, and you use them to seal the entry and exit areas in the larger joint. Also, if you're attempting to make one, just be sure that you punch a hole through the center of the smaller one the actually get airflow through it 😂 almost forgot once

Or maybe he grabbed the gun from one guy, shot the other, and then they struggle off camera while the other guys are abandoning the station, so no one notices. I went to see this film more than any other film ever in theater. My friend told me about it. This was before I knew it was a strain. We went and it blew me away. Instant classic 🍍
A cross joint is 100% doable. Ive done it. The airflow issue you're talking about is remedied by tearing joint paper in half and making an "X" across the intersection of the joints.
Red has the neck brace because when they barged through the door they knocked him back and his head/neck bashed straight into the porcelain sink 🤣🤣 such a funny part

I love how at times the plot operates on Stoner logic, like the police triangulating their location with their phone, and the dealer recognizing the strain by the left over scent

I saw this in theatres with my friend when we were in high school. Good lord. I barely remember it. But there is no way 17-year-old me understood any of the weed lingo. xD I still don't. Maybe all the screaming and slapstick are what entertained me about it.
I was on the other end of the spectrum. Me and my friend were both 17 when we saw this in theaters and huge stoners. I remember the movie theater being packed and everyone laughing throughout the entire movie. Only time I've ever seen laughter like that in the movie theater

Dude!! You don't even mention WHY Franco wears that headband in the movie? In the forest running scene (6:39) Franco hits his head on a tree. He actually hit his head on a screw that was holding a pad in place and got stitches. To keep that cut from appearing in the movie, he wore that signature headband you see! Ya think YOU guys would have mentioned that tasty little tidbit of trivia!

It's about damn time you did this movie. My favorite comedy, David Gordon Green is a legend. So many missed sin removals.

Specifically the two parter episode 3x08 and 3x09, Future's End, also featuring Sarah Silverman as Rain Robinson. I always loved this story.

The End Credit Scene Part would've been perfect it always bothered me that this movie had that amazing intro but not the same at the end when they very easily could have.
this was the first movie I ever saw with my now wife 13 some odd years ago. we got super baked before and were laughing our heads off. until they got to the part with her family. I swear her dad looks just like the dad in the movie and I had a bit of a panic attack. love the movie tho. a true stoner classic
