My wife and I have become totally invested in the story of Tik Tok... my wife is terrified of snakes but loves tik tok. I hope you guys keep her, if not.. send her our way lol
she definitely looks like she's about to shed. My daughter has one that is an absolute darling. He loves fuzzy blankets and kisses, back massages and gentle pet pets.
Another way you can tell that was a pet is how she eats frozen thawed rats because a wild BP would want live rats. My BP is a little over a year old and still eats live and I have tried and tried to get him to eat frozen and he will starve himself before he would eat one. Smh it’s nature!! Lol
I don't know what you've tried but I believe there's a way of encouraging ball pythons to eat frozen thawed by putting the rodent in some heated water just before giving it to the python so it shows up in their heat vision. Obviously if anyone tries this research how to do it properly first but it may help.
@@gollygaloshes I did thaw it in hot water and I have tried ways that people do it on the internet and my BP will just not eat it. I have tried just leaving it in the cage for a few hours, I tried wiggling it like its alive and I have even tried making him go months without food and only offering him frozen thawed and nothing. I'm hoping the older he gets maybe he will stop caring and then take it because younger BP seem to love mice and them alive. Mine BP don't even like rats he will take one here and there but he will take a mouse every time. He is just a picky little snake but he is sweet, cute and he actually comes to me so I will take his cons for his sweet funny self!! lol He is an Ivory BP
@@KERRIESCARINGNURSERY did you try to put the frozen thawed in a small circular container, cover it with something so the inside gets dark and leaving you BP there for some hours? The snake will have to go over it when it's moving, then it can maybe eat.
@@diandraduarte5776 yes I have put him in a small container with nothing in it and in a dark room all alone for hours and then when I came back he was laying with the mouse like it was a cuddle buddy. Lovely to see her again, she’s looking fabulous and I’m so glad she took that rat well. Looking forward to the big update but wondered why she is still in quarantine? Does she still have ticks and flees or are they all dead now? It looked like they were all dead in your previous video. Thanks for the update 🤗🐍
Your channel popped up on my feed and now I'm hooked! Not sure I'll watch all your videos, but my ❤ is completely involved in TickTok's story. You two are pretty amazing people! Question: do they only eat once a week because that is how long it takes to digest their meal?
im so shocked she took the rat! because she didnt look like she was emaciated when you picked her up so i figure she must have gotten some sort of small animal while she wasnt in captivity. and i know it can be super hard to get a ball python to switch back to f/t im glad she's being taken care of!
They made a Video about it and the doctor said that it is damaged but no left over eye cap. In the video where they showed her shedding you also could see that the eye caps got off no problem.

TikTok is looking so much better. So glade y’all rescued her. I took in a ball python a few months ago and she’s awesome to. I am curious Are y’all worried about the new animal bans from FWC? That you might have to give up some of or all of your exotic pets in the future due to the bans.
I think another important thing to point put about the invasive species qualifications is that, along with having a large expanding population, their population growth has to be able to damage the native flora or fauna in some way. Like with the macaws you mentioned along with cockatiels and budgies, they may be breeding here but they aren't harmful to other native birds in Florida and outcompeting them, so while they're exotic non-native they're not technically invasive.
Super corny but I'd love to hear a video about how you guys met and how long you guys have been together. I could only imagine of all the adventures you guys have been! :))
